This stuff is very complicated. life situations can cause lots of things and some if not many are hereditary. I am pretty versed in this subject.... i have experience. The professionals dont always understand.... they just push drugs. It is better for you to understand the drugs first and understand the effects. In my opinion. I dont like being someones ginny pig but I dont mind making myself a ginny pig to figure something out.

AA is alcoholics but alcoholics that understand it is a daily struggle. You have 12 steps you complete and in that time many start to lead, teach and guide others. A sponsor. Your sponsor is like you big brother. You have constant contact with this person. No cost.. it is 100% volunteer driven. You feel you need a drink the sponsor acknowledges yes you do... but you dont need to and support words for that moment and will many time drive to ones house or where they are at to support them. One of the only non profit orgs i 100% support because it is not about profits...... but just maintaining. They understand it is a constant struggle as even the most seasoned drinkers in AA go back to drinking sometime or another then they go back to AA to have people that understand them and will still support them even though they fucked up. I will disagree on part of this.... if you go to an AA meeting, it is run by alcoholics. Alcoholics understand better than anyone. Hanging with someone who is depressed and giving good advice or just support is great therapy. This Idiot talking to you Idiots is good therapy as well. Spread the knowledge... if you have insight on something.... it can help someone big time. I agree hxtr. I remember how shut off from my family and friends because they didn't understand nor did they want to. When I talk about my situation its not to get attention but to let people know there is a world out there that is detached because society a=has put them in a back room out of site and that way we don't have to be reminded about the people that got that way because shit happened to them that was more than their minds could handle. This makes a great way for us to support each other. If you don't wanna read it that's your decision not mine! Urrrh, I doubt AA is run by alcoholics, but rather ex alcoholics. Otherwise no-one would go. Now I am not an alcoholic so this is simply hearsay on my part. I believe AA teaches that there are no ex alcoholics just recovering ones. So if that is indid is the case alcoholics is running AA and its that fact that brings other alcoholics to their meetings! Yep that is correct.. once an alcoholic always a alcoholic. Everyone in AA will admit that if they are there for help.
