will the electric car cost you more money or save you money over time? What happens when the batteries need to be changed? Sure it is $1000 and up. Electric cars batteries cost some $6000. How is that saving money? Pay $40,000+ for a Chevy Volt and get 42mpg and pay $6000 in 4 to 5 years to keep it going.
