OK I am a Intel fanboy . So with that being said here is my recent build just for a little perspective. CPU - I9-9900k Intel Ram -Gskill 16gigs -3600mhz motherboard- Asus Rog Strix Z390 GPU - Asus Rog Strix RTx2080ti oc Cooling- Corsair H150i pro Case fans -140mm x4 Case- NZXT H700 2-Samsung 1tb ssd 1-samsung M.2 1tb 1corsair 100watt PSU Windows 10 pro I have never had an issue with any of this setup (Knock on wood). but this set up ran me some were in the neighborhood of about 3,500 us dollars . so a budget price might be helpful so we can give you some doable options .

I would just like to say Thanks to Loader and all that make this event happen. And to loader for all the help in getting my game to run. These are the kinda of things that make so Proud to member of this great family. I don't even treated this nice by my own family . I have found the config file and changed it but I keep getting this when I try to save .

used my disks and it installed . I have also used the steam thing and bought it but still the same issue . Thank Lt Laszlo

I have re installed COD2 on my pc . of course its win 10. I have tried to change resolutions but game crashes. I then looked it and found that you can change it in the registry. so I did that and it wont let me save it says I don't have the permissions. So I then opened it as admin and it still wont . Please help I don't want to miss the event .

I am going try a fresh install it wont let change the DCOM permissions so we will see. I will keep ya posted

I have tried all that had been suggested and it will not let me take permissions over my dcom . so should I just try to install fresh again?

Thanks I will see if I can find the distributed com number and give it permissions . Thanks man let me know tomorrow if ya find anything .

I don't know if anybody can help me. But this is my second pc and I keep getting this error message . then it freezes its win 10 , and I have given permissions in the registry . and no matter what I don it still give me this error . any help would be greatly appreciated ERROR MESSAGE.txt

I have a GTX 1080ti card . Is the RTX cards really worth the cash . sorry off subject
