Its been sometimes weeks for me on the west coast. Thought it was my connection or rig so uninstalled game reinstalled game same problem. Finally just started connecting. Should have just waited it out. I think its weather related but I have no idea. My longest time unable to connect was five weeks.

HI all, be sure save your profile before uninstalling a game or you will pay by having to create a new profile and losing everything.

Well WTF no working after almost two month. Uninstalled, reinstalled, uninstalled didn't save my profile either like an Idiot. Bought it though Steam just for the hell of it and seem to connect for a short while then no connection. Gave up for a week or two. Then on Saturday 10/04/2014 were up and running so far. Now I have no KillingTime profile so I'm using KTWEST which I hate but its all I can do. See if I had just waited it out I would have been fine.

Hi guys I have according to speedtest.net its above average. All my other COD games play with no problem and all other online games. Its seems that from where I'm at on the west coast to the master server has gone south for good this time. Soooo I will waited it out and see. It just so frustrating, I go to play WAW multiplayer and suddenly all looks good all servers are up and I don't dare refresh, I join our server and sometimes I can actually play for a few minutes. Then CI and then go to refresh and all servers vanish. I think there some big crow chewing through the line in Omaha or something. Arrgggg.

Well I just don't get it, I went to go check how many seconds it ticks down and just for the hell of it I clicked on our DM server in favorites even though it was shaded out and it connected to game. no one on at 8:35 pm west coast time. So I exited game I try to refresh and no go again. So it ticks down to 10 then times out. Well I gave it another go tonight and was able to play with Zombie Fart for about two minutes before connection interruption and that's without refreshing. Kuput again so I think this tells me that what ever connection I have is so weak now even though my ping was about 60 to 55 which isn't to bad. So I just have to wait it out I guess or go rebuy this game though steam and hold my breath.

Hi LaBob Well I gave that a try and same old thing, Times out, all servers disappear when refresh. Just wondering if I bought a steam version if I could play? Oh this sucks... Its like the pathway from where I'm at on the west coast is caput. Its happen before but not for this long and it would suck more if the steam version didn't work for me either. Got damn fast internet service so that's not it either and when I do play my ping is great for west coast to east coast. Ever since the hurricane it been hit or miss. All my COD games on Steam work great. Sooo I might give it a try.

Thanks dj I can't seem to find the IP address for Activision server for WAW but I have no problem playing Black Ops, but that is though Steam. I'm just using store bought disc. Been a month now and no go for me. Also uninstalled and reinstalled patched it up and same issue. At first on multiplayer all servers load up, all looks good, refresh list and all servers disappear. Hell I even tried not refreshing and join our server and it times out. I do miss it.

yup I think I might have to uninstall and reinstall, its the only thing I can do I think. Grrrr all those patches and stuff. Again thanks for all the advise all.

Thank you all for the help still trying this and that. One thing I did notice that after hurricane Sandy it went down hill at least for me on the west coast. There is just no connection to the master server from here anymore it seems for now.

Its crazy I cant connect to master server from west coast Los Angeles. And have all patches and punkbuster updates too. Cant join any server not just ours. However sometime I will sneak up on the game try to join and there will be just a flicker of hope then "ta da" timed out and nada. Its like a very weak connection or something Damit.

Its like cannot connect to master server. Looks like all is good at first then go to refresh server lists and boom all server freeze not just our server. Its like all the time now. Can play any internet game except WAW. When ever I have been able to play I have a decent ping and it plays great...When I'm able to log on. Don't get it.

Its got to be weather related, now its up after three weeks. Ice storms all the wires screwed up I would assume.

Me neither on west coast I don't get it cant join any multiplayer. I go to refresh and all servers go blank on server list. Two weeks of this what the hell has changed? Is it weather related ? Its like server list populates so ok join server and wait and wait and times out. then to refresh and list goes blank. Not just DM server but all servers. Its like it tries then fails. The only changes I have made recently is using a 144hz monitor. Its like it just wont stick.

I cant get in either. I get a quick server list and go to refresh and it goes blank. But whats weird about it is sometime Ive been able to actually join a game if I don't refresh favorite or server list. Never had this problem before. Now the only change Ive done is using a 144hz monitor. Its been like this for two weeks. This isn't one of my steam games either. Just a plain old disc in drive. I thought it might be weather related on the east coast. But I don't know.
