Trick to cooking Top round I have found is do not cook it cold allow it to reach room temp and put in a hot non stick pan with what you would like....Also I never freeze steak always cook fresh from the butcher .....Works for me have/had hypertension for many years and at age 32 had a mild heart attack (heart cath too) so started eating healthier and my Blood pressure is managed w/o meds (no salt)100/67 few days ago.....Chicken if u must eat it bake it or I have for years boiled chicken and pork first then cooked however you like and I must confess I am a thigh guy so I d-bone them and boil for 10min then bake.....Look on the web for heart healthy meals ....Cereal is a good morning starter @Joe very good point as I do the same but I,m the dog so the wife walks me...Then I chase her ass home for some bed therapy Which is heart healthy for us both
