Since I bought my new laptop about a month ago or so, I have been primarily playing Team Fortress 2. On my old laptop, I would go through phases of heavily playing either promod or freezetag, but now that I can fully run other games, I am just trying new games out. I plan on playing freezetag sometime soon, but for now I am having a lot of fun completing achievements on TF2.

Southern New Jersey and parts of Southeastern Pennsylvania got hammered by a terrible storm on Tuesday. The storm came and went within one hour, but the damage was devastating. I didn't have power for two days, nor did anyone in my County and a few others. Many towns are still without power. Wind gusts reached 75 mph, and countless amounts of trees fell, destroying houses, cars, power lines, telephone poles, etc. Fortunately, my property took no damage. The major roadways like the NJ Turnpike were, and still are, graveyards of fallen trees. Fortunately for me, I always keep my Nintendo 3DS and 2DS fully charged, so I just played Pokemon lol. It was rough trying to sleep with the heat. I already had a crazy schedule earlier this week, so I haven't had a good night of sleep since Sunday night. Now that the power is back on, with the AC, sleeping tonight will be glorious. I'm just glad no one got hurt.

I just bought a Steel Series Siberia Raw Prism from Best Buy for $53.99. Good for Windows, Mac, and PS4. USB Headset, integrated mic, customizable. If you pay an extra $12, you get a 2-year unlimited replacement warranty. Not a bad deal for the price.

1. I went to install my CoD4 cd last night, and the installation stopped responding a few times before not responding and not recovering just before finalization. I tried inserting the cd to uninstall it and it said it failed to initiate the uninstall. Since all my other games are on Steam, I said fuck it, and bought CoD4 on Steam today. 2. Intermittent wifi connection Windows 8.1: apparently it's a common problem. Running an ethernet cord to my room is a problem at this time. I used wifi on my old laptop just fine on Windows Vista (yeah, olddddd laptop). I get constant connection interrupted when I play CoD4. 3. Razer Carcharias headset vs. Teamspeak 3: My laptop has a single jack for microphone/headphones. When I try to set up my mic in teamspeak, I can hear everything, but no one can hear me. It is not a USB headset. I even tried plugging both the microphone and headphone cords into my keyboard and then plugging the keyboard cord into the single jack in the laptop. Nope, still nothing. I wanted to start a post because I will probably have more problems. Good thing is, I get Windows 10 for free when it comes out. I wanted Windows 7, but this laptop was too good to pass up, so I have to learn Windows 8.1 for now.

If I don't have it by this weekend, fuck customer service, I want the District Manager. They better throw in some extra free stuff.

On Saturday, I purchased a new gaming laptop from Tiger Direct. At the time of purchase, the item was in stock. I even took a screenshot. Since I had the money, I paid for next day shipping. It said it would arrive on Tuesday, yesterday. When I got home from work yesterday, my Dad told me no packages came in. So, I went on Tiger Direct's website to track my order. All of a sudden, it says the product is back-ordered (Lie #1). Then, I called their customer service to find out what happened. Long story short, their warehouse down in Georgia received a shipment of the laptops yesterday, Tuesday. The customer service representative apologized for the inconvenience and said it will ship out today, Wednesday (Lie #2). I got home from work today, went on their website, and it still has not shipped yet. My plan was to have everything installed on the new laptop before Friday, so I could fully enjoy this weekend. Now, I'll be lucky to have it by Friday. At the very least, I should be refunded the next-day shipping cost. False advertisement. Bull shit.

At first, I had my doubts, but overall I like the new mod. I especially like how I don't lose a perk when I use the Grip on my shotgun. It's something I've always wanted. Thanks to Sammy for all the hard work. Call of Duty 4 is my favorite PC game, and if it weren't for the XI servers, this game would have died for me a long time ago. Aside from that, I have noticed some very bitter players in the server. It's one thing to get upset that you missed a shot, and say something about that, but when people verbally abuse or type something spiteful towards the person who just shot them, it is totally uncalled for. I know how frustrating it is to be one kill away from a killstreak, only to get shot and feel disappointed, but unless the doctor told you that you have little time left to live, there will be other killstreaks. Even though it's just a video game, there should be some sportsmanship. I know I have overreacted in the past, this game is very addictive. The thrill of getting your favorite killstreak can turn you into a monster sometimes. I apologize if I have offended anyone, I have tried to work on keeping my composure.

I was working in Wilmington, Delaware today and I had just gotten a ladder from my work truck when I saw a woman in a motorized wheelchair cross the crosswalk at an intersection. The traffic light turned green and she was almost to the other side when this asshole honked at her to move out of the way. I couldn't believe it.

That's the thing, it is a tight alley and there was a car coming. I was moving to the side. They saw the whole thing. I wasn't even embarrassed, it was hilarious. I tried to grab the fence next to me and ripped my watch right off my wrist.

After work today, while I was walking back to my car, I completely wiped out on some ice. Both feet flew out in front of me and I landed on my ass. I had a few layers of clothes on, so I didn't hurt myself, but I laughed my ass off for a few minutes before driving home. Even with my hiking boots on, it didn't make a difference. It was great. Has anyone else wiped out this winter?
