  5. Yep; it takes like 15 minutes for your brain & stomach to coordinate the status of satiation; so the slow eating allows time for you to feel full before overeating. That & a sizeable glass of water ~20 min. before I eat, too. Helps with digestion (especially proteins, which require more water).
  6. Yessir, more energy, increased maneuverability; I was just starting to feel the beginnings of waddling in my gait... fuck that. And the pressure on my joints... and my gut getting in the way when I tied my shoes. Skin's complexion is clearer, thinking is, well, pretty good for an Idiot. I mean, if somebody said: "Here, take this 50 lb. backpack & lug it around all day, every day, I'd be like: fuck you, buddy; but that's what I was doing, just with 50 lb. of fat. I remember taking that 1st picture, looking @ it & thinking my head looked like a big pasty bowling ball. Decided then it was time for a change; just a matter of time after that. Chicks be noticing, too. Whereas before, not so much. lol.

  11. It takes discipline, surely. Working on the Grubhub & D00rdash platforms, delivering 10-12 hrs/day other peoples' food. You'd be surprised how quickly cutting carbs out of one's diet can facilitate weight loss... & how much you miss carbs when you step into a Fazoli's to grab an order & you car ends up smelling like wonderful, pillowy, fresh garlic bread sticks. That, & I'm moving around too much to have time to stuff my face.

  14. ...in about 7 months. First forty was steady; then I plateaued... I think it because of gained muscle mass that the weight loss slowed most recently. Down from 237 or so in early January, to a more reasonable 186 now. ?
  15. Lol, I drive a manual, so... I'm not crashing over a couple of fries. I'm nice to the folks @ the restaurants I visit most frequently. Buy them Bags of Hershey's mini chocolates, or mini Snickers. They, in turn, keep me in soda & such.
  16. Welp, the title was kinda indicative. Ty for the kind words. They did turn out well. It's a matter of watching them as they sit ~6" under the broiler element so they don't burn. Really rather easy, too. @blackcat
  17. Wrapped in foil, baked @ 250F for 8 hours, then basted & broiled for 10 min., 4 times.
