  1. ...didn't know Magnus Carlsen was a fan of shooting. Checkmate, bitches!

  3. looks like Koothrappali.
  4. Oh, & FU @TheDrimpXI!
  5. Sounds like you would benefit from what helped me years ago... still benefits me today. Counseling. Everyone - not just you - can benefit from counseling. Gotta be patient & find the right fit. They can then walk with you down the path to healing & health. My counselor even gave me tools that were sorely needed. And like the sage saying: Wherever you go, there you are. You can leave XI, you can leave society; wherever you end up, however, your memories will still remain. Best to deal with them & move past. Life's short, don't waste it on things that no longer are.
  6. One person that reacted lost their lunch m0ney.
  7. You better have my Lunch m0ney tomorrow!
  8. Dude, put your Big Boy pants on & tell him or her to fuck off. Seems odd that you'd let some rando joe schmo, who happens to ostensibly not like you, lead you straight to a decision of leaving. Something else going on, it would seem.
  9. Nice pics. Also: 'taken', not taking.
  10. ...chicken breast! Baked ~4.5 pounds of chicken & it comes out very juicy & can be seasoned as one likes or not at all; then used in whatever recipe you want. Or just eat it straight outta the oven with whatever sauces one might like. I soaked the breasts in saltwater for 20 minutes firstly. Then I rinsed, patted dry, & brushed with butter on both sides. Finally I seasoned them with Lawry's Seasoned Salt, garlic powder, pepper, & little crushed Oregano. Baked @ 450F for 20 min. Very tasty & will be used for a few meals in the next couple days.
  11. Idiots.
  12. OMG, that shitty Dutch internet. Not again.
  13. Dude, I have college degrees. My favorite courses were actually electives like Western Civilization & the Humanities. Code of Hammurabi, Roman Empire, Egypt, Pax Romana, Domesday Book, Iraq area with city states ... Fertile Crescent... First to have uniform school curricula, irrigation. the Sumerians, Cuneiform, Epic of Gilgemash, Ottoman Empire. Popes & Anti Popes. Medieval times, Black Plague, Renaissance...Hanseatic League...& of course, Ancient Greece, Athens, their Patron Virgin Goddess & namesake... Themistocles & his diplomacy to have a naval fleet built, buying time alongside Leonidas for Athenians to flee. Arguably saving Greece & Western Civilization by expertly winning at Salamis. So much rich history... to include much more... and a Folly here & there.
  14. Such a wonderful valley! Would love to paramotor that for a couple few hours.
  15. I know Yorkshire is a couple hundred miles away; is the topography similar or change between you & there?
  16. Oh yeah? Well, did you know a Doctor invented the Salisbury steak?
  17. Oh! & is that a Folly? In the topmost image?
  18. Reminds me of imagery invoked by James Herriot, of the Yorkshire Dales in his books, & then, of course, the television series. Or, or Highlander. Just so dazzlingly beautiful with vast expanse of Green & Blue... gives me cognitive elbow room. I like to go into the middle of nowhere & just be still... which leads to forgetting oneself... not necessarily to leave any bad, but to go to where that headspace does... simple, quiet bliss. Nice pictures.
  19. Man, ain't that some shit? Sad indeed.
  20. For whose safety? The mirror's?
  21. One of the many places I've visited. Historic Fort Knox & before:
  22. Back with two additional sauces for the leftovers. Tapatio & Valentina. Tapatio has a classic Chili flavor. A nice zip. Not very complex. Kinda reminiscent of spicy taco meat. Flavor doesn't last that long, either. Then there's Valentina. Made in Guadalajara. Much better on several points. More complex, with Garlic flavor in there. It's hotter, while still not that hot, to me. And the flavor lasts much longer; and it doesn't quite shout vinegar & chili at you... not as 'bright', I guess. And, of course, the Franks. Good shit in it's own right. Wanna liven up the flavor on most anything? Throw some Frank's on that shit. Valentina is well worth getting if you don't mind modestly hot... it tastes really good. Another piece of advice: If you don't like heat, but like the flavor of hotter peppers like, say, a jalapeno, take out all the seeds and ribbing inside. You will still have all the flavor, without any heat. Honest, mild as a bell pepper.
  23. Well, I can show you the drink(s). What blows your hair back?... water, gatorade, ski, pepsi, chocolate milk, Paulaner Hefeweizen? Those are the usual fare.
