  1. Mmmm... Shiny AND fruity. Ever heard the saying tutti fruity apple booty? Now it's tutti fruity Absol booty? =O
  2. Dude, after wearing this, I feel too sexy for my hand, even. Lmao. Even on the dry-down, you get different accords wafting by. Cinnamon, Bergamot, Vanilla, Sandalwood, spices. It's great stuff man. Can't go wrong with this.
  3. ...is ***Beavis Voice*** still fire. The dry-down is sublime. Since the reformulation, it doesn't have the staying power it once did; however, it still gets compliments every time I wear it. And who cares it's supposed to be a Winter fragrance, I rock this year-round when I have it. Still has good sillage. There's just so much going on with this one that it makes you want to keep smelling it. Please feel free to comment what your favorite frags are.
  4. No, the title's "Karen's". If the Karen was truly and addition, then it would be - plural possessive - Karens'.
  5. Anyways, the apostrophe would go after the 's' then, so that dog won't hunt.
  6. Don't be a Navin, Funky. You heard it here first. It's a nice descriptor.
  7. Exactly. Shit, that was Captain James T. Kirk, a childhood icon to him, interviewing him. You could tell he was excited @ the outset, & Shatner's honest, reasonably deft approach allowed him to open up more than one would have expected. You could also tell Shatner enjoyed as much as Tyson.
  8. Never would have thought of Shatner interviewing Tyson. Really enjoyed it, for many reasons. .
  9. Reuters, AP, NYT, WSJ, BBC.
  10. Next up: Seatbelts. Discuss!
  11. ...laggy piece of shit!!
  12. "...can't catch em!"

  13. Some pictures of a recent day's sunset:
  14. Well, I have videos too. Will upload them when I have the time. Figured I'd like to watch footage me talking randomly & of the country roads & surroundings in 6 months during the winter.
  15. I posted about this a couple few months ago. Got sick in late February. Really knocked me on my ass for the first 10 days. Took about 5 - 6 weeks to get back to feeling normal. Coughed up phlegm for the first 3 weeks. It started out thick & dark green, like a sinus infection snot; but in my lungs... deep in both lungs. The last week of the first 3, the phlegm became thinner & more jelly-like. Instead of laboring to cough up the phlegm for 30 minutes in the first week-10 days, the last week was only a sporadic, brief, much easier proposition to clear my airways in the morning. I took Promethazine, Guafenesin, & used a Proventil Albuterol inhaler to help clear-up. I've before had a secondary respiratory infection over the years when I caught the seasonal flu. But nothing that caused double pneumonia & settled in so deeply & for so long. Wasn't bacterial, because I was 6 days into a 10 day course of antibiotics. So 3 weeks of phlegm, & 3 weeks to not feel weak & back to normal. As an aside, 95 out 100 customers ask me to hand them their order rather than set it down when I ask them which they prefer.
  16. The Laker Drive-in. Old joint in Stephensburg. Right next to it is an impressive Black Walnut. From the girth of the trunk, it's at least 150 years old:
  17. Amusing signage @ a local Arby's:
  18. The State Theater in downtown Elizabethtown ~11:30 tonight:
  19. Grubhub, D00rdash, Postmates. A lot of country roads out here, with an attendant amount of people who are willing to pay ~$20-$25 for somebody to drive their meal to them. Sweet gig to me, getting paid to drive these beautiful country roads on a sunny Kentucky summer day.
  20. Was a quiet ending to a day. The town- Vine Grove- is well-familiar to me as it's where friends live(d), one of the places I went & go fishing, hiked, camped, carnally recreated, worked tobacco, baled hay, hunted & many other things. It, & the surrounding countryside with manifold more small towns very much like it in demeanor & vibe are a part of me & I hold dear. Since I drive these streets 12 hours a day 5-7 days a week, it occurred to me make a post chronicling the area I've grown up along with other thing of interest I happen upon; for my benefit &, perhaps, the mild amusement of others. I traveled through no less than ~15 different towns today alone; took some pictures & video of things that gained my attention for whatever reason & this is one of the places where they'll reside. They turned out nicely for a camera phone & caught the mood I feel there on a sleepy summer night. The echoes of times past resonate with me in the area & prompted me to stop & take those pictures.
  21. A thread where I can memorialize random stuff seems great: Small-town Americana @ 12:25 in the a.m.:
  22. Here's some pics with better focus: One is of a flower that's been broken open for edification.
