Welp, Weihenstephaner has been continuously brewed since the year 1040 & the alcohol content is 5.4%...I'm gonna go out on a limb and say they've had enough time to get it right. If you ever go to beeradvocate.com-the most popular and comprehensive beer site on the internet- you will see that just about all their top 250 beers-as considered by readers & members who have voted- are well above 2%. Shit, the top 25 are all in the 8-12% range...so much for 2% =D. https://www.beeradvocate.com/lists/top/ Most-popular beers? All in the 7-12% range. Doesn't make your opinion invalid; just in the minority from what I can gather. I've not tried enough to decide; but 2% sounds way too weak. https://www.beeradvocate.com/lists/popular/ As a matter of fact, I can't find one beer that's 2%; are you sure that's beer you're drinking? =)

Finally have local access to all the wonderful import beers (Hefe Weizens being my favorite). Figured I'd start with the beer from the oldest continuously-operating brewery in the world: Weihenstephaner! Let's see what you guys & gals like.

Thanks guys. Hope you guys had fun @ the Fest; my yard's wrecked between fixing the broken water line between the meter & my house; then the main line breaks in front of my house & the water company brings a backhoe into my yard & starts digging 8 feet down to cut the line and cap it. It will be nice to see all the pics, though. =)

Angelz, that was a joke. If you ever buy something to assemble yourself, there's always parts left over; IKEA is a Swedish company that falls into that category. Probably could build it using only an allen wrench.
