Lol, thing is: My mind's always doing more thinking than sometimes I like, out of proclivity, genuine curiosity; which by necessity if of an accumulating breadth & scope over time, encompasses consideration of the extremes. Contrasting & comparing to extremes is a debate tool, too now that I think of it...especially if it incorporates a false statement by someone debating you, & turns it on its head; for contrast...extreme contrast. But actually, in this instance, I was just bullshitting around....have no idea what the hell I'm on about, anyway.... may the greatness of the afternoon continue; especially in consideration that my local cable company just told me service may be interrupting because of a possible impending snow storm...So I'm like damn, gotta get all the shit-talkin' done I can: Cause there might be a dry spell... +(

I have found that: The most unpleasant people either become friendly in turn...happily refreshed to see a modest expression of benign positive regard directed their way... or they're uncomfortably disarmed & abruptly disengage.... a 3rd will decompress, de-escalate & return commentary with a scripted dialogue running in their head, & you the stranger have unwittingly been given a script in a skit in an effort to solve t he unpleasant conundrum on repeat that needs resolution....to which you can respond, with empathy: "Hey, I'm sorry whatever's got you that upset, but I didn't do it...or something,. It really is interesting, as you accumulate the years, how people engage you with one or another 'script'...several times a day, if you pay attention....and when your loitering in kindly boisterous conversation with another, others are relaxed, more drawn to the good vibes....& that's when you flick 'em in the nose! Once a year; maybe twice, I go through all my possessions & throw away or donate anything that I don't use at least once in a year, excluding tools. This is what that looks like.

Yeah, I've also owned a Chevelle, & my tie for fav: A '65 Pontiac Catalina, black with fins; looked like the old '60s Batmobile. 389 Hydramatic; could squeal tires from a standstill. Even had a couple cops race me on some back-country roads back in the day...hilarious to have a cop pull up beside you and gun his engine....

Them sammiches are BOMB..it's no wonder kids LOVE those Dino Fun Nuggets...they're made with breast meat & they prolly sprinkle a li'l crack on them or something...because they taste fucking noice. I like mixing ranch with really hot sauce, or have them sauces separate to mix as I will...and the tomato adds that rich tomato-y richness...then the sharp notes of cheddar for contrast, & lastly some KOSHER salt to really make those flavors stand-out! Now...off to make another sammich...

First car I had was a '68 Ford Fairlane; bought a Hanes or Chilton & proceeded to tear down the engine to the cylinder head, to replace the gasket, nerding out along the way, happily absorbing all the wonderful explosion diagrams & specs of that & other systems as I worked my way through that wonderful beast. LOVED LOVED LOVED the room & comparative ease with which you could rebuild a vehicle, part-by-part & have the satisfaction of knowing that car - YOUR CAR- inside & out & that you did it. Learning & proficiency was the true reward; even if getting a dependable ride to function acceptably without paying an arm & leg for it was your initial motivation. And what you also quickly learn - even at the tender age of 16- is that there are a LOT of people...people whom you would initially be inclined to believe because of their age & smug proclamations....that are absolutely full of shit & only speak for self-aggrandizement...most often knowing they are feeding you garbage....which then soon translates - when applying that newfound lens of dubious consideration- to an initially bewildering discovery of just how many full-of-shit motherfuckers there are running around this rock with you every day...but I digress...hope you're having fun with the renovation! https://youtu.be/8rh6qqsmxNs?t=2
