  1. Once a year; maybe twice, I go through all my possessions & throw away or donate anything that I don't use at least once in a year, excluding tools. This is what that looks like.
  2. Yeah, I've also owned a Chevelle, & my tie for fav: A '65 Pontiac Catalina, black with fins; looked like the old '60s Batmobile. 389 Hydramatic; could squeal tires from a standstill. Even had a couple cops race me on some back-country roads back in the day...hilarious to have a cop pull up beside you and gun his engine....
  3. Wishful thinking, buddy! https://youtu.be/CfJhXB6VULo
  4. Haven't looked into it; perhaps because the enemy of your enemy is maybe temporarily 'your friend'? Common goal(s)?... Carrot or stick...or both...dunno.

  6. Them sammiches are BOMB..it's no wonder kids LOVE those Dino Fun Nuggets...they're made with breast meat & they prolly sprinkle a li'l crack on them or something...because they taste fucking noice. I like mixing ranch with really hot sauce, or have them sauces separate to mix as I will...and the tomato adds that rich tomato-y richness...then the sharp notes of cheddar for contrast, & lastly some KOSHER salt to really make those flavors stand-out! Now...off to make another sammich...
  7. First car I had was a '68 Ford Fairlane; bought a Hanes or Chilton & proceeded to tear down the engine to the cylinder head, to replace the gasket, nerding out along the way, happily absorbing all the wonderful explosion diagrams & specs of that & other systems as I worked my way through that wonderful beast. LOVED LOVED LOVED the room & comparative ease with which you could rebuild a vehicle, part-by-part & have the satisfaction of knowing that car - YOUR CAR- inside & out & that you did it. Learning & proficiency was the true reward; even if getting a dependable ride to function acceptably without paying an arm & leg for it was your initial motivation. And what you also quickly learn - even at the tender age of 16- is that there are a LOT of people...people whom you would initially be inclined to believe because of their age & smug proclamations....that are absolutely full of shit & only speak for self-aggrandizement...most often knowing they are feeding you garbage....which then soon translates - when applying that newfound lens of dubious consideration- to an initially bewildering discovery of just how many full-of-shit motherfuckers there are running around this rock with you every day...but I digress...hope you're having fun with the renovation! https://youtu.be/8rh6qqsmxNs?t=2
  8. "If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it...." - Joseph Goebbels Head Nazi Propaganda Minister. Interesting person after whom to model one's behaviour... People know better than half the shit they repeat with such vitriolic alacrity... they're just small, fearful people eating themselves up inside with that hate & sadly, find causing pain & misery for their fellow human beings is their sole course of perverted fulfillment even as it destroys them in harboring it.
  9. So, since they look dirty, ergo they must be changed... do you navigate many areas of your life with assumptions instead of facts? The idea of suggesting a course of action for someone else is to help them; not put them in a worse position than that in which they previously were before your incorrection. They're 800 Microparticle filters, which translates to roughly merv 10 or 11...of course they're going to become dirty faster than most people's home furnace or hvac filters...because most people use only 5 merv....8 max in a house. They're also electrostatically charged to facilitate even better particle capture...& there's 4 of them in a cube design...and as I said previously, as a filter becomes 'dirty', it becomes more efficient---given it's airflow remains sufficient to not damage the impeller/fan...back to the cube....the greater surface area exponentially decreases load on the motor...as does the total cubic volume of a given filter...which means a 4" inch filter is providing less resistance than a 3"...which is less restricive than a 2"...etc. Point being, quite the opposite of your incorrect assumption: There'd be a problem if it weren't getting 'dirty'. So, a 20" inch cube translates to 8,000 cubic inches of volume, pulling in from 4 sides & expelling air up, towards the ceiling....rather than most systems where it expels air horizontally, which just pushes dust to accumulate in corners & on the periphery of a room, instead of drawing it in & filtering it....that's why you see dust bunnies & shit along people's baseboards & under their furniture: Anything downwind of the filter is not getting filtered.....whereas with the cube setup like I have, the air is being drawn-in from all 4 sides of the room, then filtered, then pushed out the top...which you can imagine is then pushing out, along the ceiling towards the walls from whence it initially came (air being merely a less-dense fluid than a liquid, it will flow along the ceiling vis a vis Newton's First Law of Motion [on a slight tangent, I always wondered upon reading the admonition accompanying a prescription to 'drink plenty of fluids' as a gas is also a fluid {shouldn't they be a bit more-specific & call for 'liquids', I can't imagine much efficacy in consuming, say, Nitrogen or Xenon}])...helping to push more air into the filter RECUSIVELY; much cleaner, much more elegant & efficient. The filter rating I use is hospital-grade. Make one & breathe easier. All that shit you see in those filters would otherwise be in the breather's lungs instead.
  10. MIxture looks waaay rich; depositing that much carbon fouling is a function of incomplete combustion due to either excessive fuel/air ratio or insufficient temperature & heat for complete combustion...kinda like on the cooler periphery of a campfire where the border between temperature & fuel/oxygen intersect....but I'm stating the obvious...because its fun.
  11. Coming up!

  13. I built that but 10 days ago....filter of this type become more efficient as they accumulate, anyway. I monitor the efficiency by observing the rate of accumulation on a secondary unit. Thx.
  14. Ah ha my well-spoken friend you have been trapped, this is indeed the correct spelling, however I deliberately cut and pasted this from your original post, please check. I know this, hence the self-correction! Your call has not gone Unheard. Bobby, come get your nuts:
  15. Unbelievably- & the narrative to which I shall heretofore adhere- is that this is a brief 'it get's darker before the light'- explosion of my yearly winnowing process of unused 'stuff' that is deemed detritus. When bananas go black, that's when they are perfect for banana bread; it means the starches inside have properly converted to sugars; the resulting banana bread is orders of magnitude superior in flavor, sweetness & nuance than 'yellow' bananas. When I choose to 'get some pussy' this occurs without the female ever coming to my humble abode & therefore preempts any requirement of seeing it 'in my house'. Sitting in my car, occasionally looking menacing is part of my day job. Any drugs I may consume are at home, after a day's hard work; this facilitates resetting my disposition & keeping those whom I may encounter during the next day's itinerary from a much-needed ass whooping, if their actions would normally so merit. There are few things more worthy of pixilated memorialization than my magnificent Adonis-like corporeal being bedecked in my bespoke wardrobe, assembled from unreproachable sartorial sensibilites! Only person to walk this earth better dressed: SRV. quadruped* Now, quit teasing your admiring public, & lets have those wonderful glamour shots you've been bogarting....mufukker.
  16. ...just threw it up for comments...perspective...
  17. ...is a very very very fine house....
  18. Doing gig economy 70 hrs./wk...I was over the mandates in my context about 5 months ago...if someone in there buying food for dine-in or carryout, they don't have standing to complain...& the employees mostly were wearing masks because their employers' requirement, management included. If you're in the service industry & it ain't killed you after 18+ months of continuous daily exposure, it's prolly not going to. And if you're a customer patronizing a luxury such as dine-in or carryout...well then, that's tacit acceptance of any risks...
  19. Welcome back. Still miss your dad, like most everyone who had the privilege of knowing him...was an integral part of our community.
  20. You just posting shit without taking even a cursory 5 minutes to vett it first. Used to have to ride my bike to the library. Look-up in the card catalog what I wanted to research...then walk back to the stacks to find it...then copy &/or write-down the information if it was a reference material...now people can literally Google results in less than 3 minutes....makes one wont to even stop to read a post or assertion if they don't bother to take 3 minutes before posting just anything that catches their fancy...2 or 3 independent sources for confirmation is minimum journalistic standard...here we again have 0 confirmation sources...
  21. Lies. Now provide citations to prove your vitriolic claim...I read the bill, & nowhere does it have any language regarding domestic media lying to the public; as a matter of fact, the bill was co-sponsored by a Texas Republican, & passed in a REPUBLICAN-CONTROLLED HOUSE! Fuck's wrong with you? Hate & bullshit lies for what purpose? RAcism?
  22. All of Europe disagrees with you...even the countries neutral since WWII...you rotund quadriped! ...& I'm not wound-up...just like talking shit...also, nice job on ignoring the salient points of my argument....butt nugget!
  23. Surprising to me considering truckers spend most of their time behind a wheel, seemingly unaffected by the mask requirement...only 1 restaurant has insisted I wear a mask, so I dropped the delivery & don't accept orders from there...so over the mask thing...2 years is long enough, for me.
