  1. Surprised I've never before seen it.
  2. They're hilarious. Entertaining to see the fun they're having as they become comfortable in front of the camera:
  3. Is it worth it to get the Original if one's never before played the franchise?
  4. NIce. I just happened to notice the halo as I was out making deliveries & decided to pull over & catch it with my simple phone camera. Happens here a handful of times a year. Were there pillars visible during this event you captured?
  5. Funny thing is the number of people that think the 1st Amendment applies everywhere, all the time; when in obvious fact it only applies in relation to the government.
  6. Dropped out of high school. Few years later, decided to matriculate & took the requisite tests; the GED being one. Now this, I did copy & paste, after adding my own 'flare'.
  7. ...when I get my house built; then it's cooking with gas! All good things in their own time.
  8. Srsly? Was rather straight forward? Dunno what it means anyway, just copied + pasted it anyh00.
  9. ...because $20 is $20?
  10. No freedom of speach, the man said. Although firstly, he might more greatly benefit from remedially availing himself of the freedom of spelling.
  11. Copy & paste that? Original content, unless you count my interpretation of knowledge I acquired in the '90s while taking nursing curricula. Biology, A&P courses, Several psychology courses. Comical that you assume my intelligence or knowledge when you don't even know me; or that you feel motivated to question it. Would could hang out some time; then I could even chat with you about Adenosine Triphosphate while I write out the Krebs Cycle for you, if it'll make you feel better about the whole thing. Or we could chat about Themistocles & how he's underappreciated in helping save much of western civilization's culture. Maybe the Fertile Crescent & the establishment of uniform curricula across city-states, irrigation, the wheel, writing? The Code of Hammurabi?. Classical vs. Operant Conditioning & it's practical application in everyday life? I usually don't 'use big words', especially in-game, because 1. I'm there to have fun & blow-off steam; not to display my not inconsiderable wealth of knowledge, or edify people on relatively inconsequential facts & opinions just because I find them interesting. 2. 'Big words', out of context are unnecessary, & most people, expectedly, don't wanna hear it. How about different coffees of the world, different flavors & roasting profiles? Wet vs. dry process? Jung & Archetypes? Egypt & it's geography allowing it's culture to flourish as it did. The Roman Dynasty from establishment, Kingdom to republic, empire & collapse. The simple stirrup & it's influence on the fall of Rome. The similarities & differences between say, a nice Blue Mountain & a Kona? Semi precious stones? agate, nephrite jade, jadeite jade? Mafic rocks? Slip faults? Spooky Entaglement? Einstein watching a clock tower from the back of a cart & musing about relativity? The stages of elements as fuel during the evolution of different mass stars? A proclivity for goofing around doesn't preclude an appreciation of a broad sweep of topics or one's intelligence. How about a nice game of chess? English is my favorite book as White. Sicilian (Accelerated Dragon) & Nimzo-Indian as Black. Knight outposts are underappreciated. You only know people as well as they choose to allow, & certainly not through a venue such as an online fps. How about the roux, bechamel & the five mother sauces? How to make a great Ny-style pie? The contribution of different yeasts to a crust's flavor? Drawing a thread using the spoon test to determine the stage of your confection? Mychorrhizae & plant health & yield? Auxins & their response to photoperiod? The dual nature of light, slit experiments... Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle? Do you have a passion or hobby that draws you to learn something & becoming proficient?
  12. Saw this a few days ago:
  13. I know I'm awesome & everything; but if you need me in your life, you need to get out more!
  14. Just exactly in what capacity?
  15. Female 'friends', yes. Girlfriend? Working ~80 - 100 hrs/wk precludes that, for now. And I'm sure as hell not trying to get married again...unless she has an obscene amount of $$$!
  16. I agree, when it comes to stovetop. However, doubt they're gonna run a custom gas line up to me just because I want one.
  17. Too lazy to edit; fast forward at your discretion:
  18. ...of quality fragrances. Some of them from this house are custom, some are resurrections of discontinued scents; some are recreations of vintage batches before they were watered down by the original maker; some are hybrid, even tribrids of more than one scent. All of them are well made & are of extrait concentration, meaning they project & last for the better part of a whole day. 1. Casno Elixir: A hybrid of Maison Francis Kurkdjian's Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait & notes of Creed Aventus. One of Dua's best-liked scents. Really an amazing fragrance. (Interestingly, MFK's BR540 is a synthetic molecule) 2. Casino Royale Nights: The above-mentioned Baccarat Rouge 540. 3. Amberlicious: An interpretation of Hermes' Ambre Narguile. An absolute Amber bomb after the cinnamon-dominant opening. Pleasantly warm in the cold weather months. 4. Midnight Rendezvous: An inspiration of Yves Saint Laurent's L'Homme flanker, La Nuit De L'Homme, vintage 2010. This is one where the original was ridiculously watered down & the frag soon disappeared after the dry down from the Bergamot opening. This recreation is ~90% similar & simply amazing. An amazing, luxuriant scent. 5. Bois Oudh: Recreation of Tom Ford's Oud Wood. The name being somewhat redundant, as Oud means Wood. It's made from the sap of the of the Agar tree's heartwood. But it has to be one that has been infected with a particular fungus, as the resin is only produced as a defensive response to the infection. It's 6 Billion-dollar-a-year market in the fragrance industry, by itself. It provides a warm, smoky, musky scent & goes well with leather notes. It's been known and used since Biblical times & most likely back to before recorded history. It's an interesting subject unto itself. Oud is usually a base note, meant to support & carry a fragrance. 6. Tux: Recreation of Yves Saint Laurent's scent Tuxedo. A classy, manly scent that opens with Bergamot, with the scent being carried through upon a rich base of Ambergris. The Patchouli is a creamy, slightly sweet, earthy note in the heart of this fragrance, contrasted by a nice peppery vibe on the periphery. The rose, violet & Lily are intoxication when you catch a whiff every now & then. A really elegant scent reinstated to it's vintage glory since being diluted in recent years. 7. Abstract Elixir: Inspiration of Masque Milano's L'Attesa. Opens with Bergamot & Neroli, with Orris Root, tuberose & Ylang Ylang after the dry-down; all residing on a base of creamy Sandalwood with Oakmoss & leather making for a rich, warm, scent after the opening. 8. Aphrodisiac: A recreation & customization of Initio's Psychedelic Love. This here is a POTENT parfum that actually hits the pleasure centers of the brain with it's Heliotrope (the Heliotropin molecule is actually used to make the psychoactive drug mda, a substitute for Extasy, & is therefore strictly regulated) & Hedione molecules. It's a heady, creamy narcotic fragrance that includes some intoxicating elements like Myrrh & Bulgarian Rose Absolute. This stuff is Beast Mode & a hard-hitter, capable of distracting you. 9. Poseidon's Elixir 13ZZ: Based on Creed Aventus, Batch 13ZZ01. This scent opens with the Iconic juicy Pineapple with added notes of smoke & Rose. This opening transitions to jasmine, Birch with a rich, musky Ambergris carrying the fragrance into the dry down of creamy vanilla & amazing oakmoss notes that lend a scent a lot like the woods after it starts to rain. 10. Zest of Casino Elixir: A combination of BR 540, Mugler Ultra Zest, with the pineapple note of Aventus. This has so much going on: Citrus, vanilla, patchouli, the BR 540 molecule, the Aventus note. Women really like this one when I'm about town. As homely as I am, still some even approach to ask what I'm wearing. The scent bubble this creates puts me in a really good mood & helps carry me through the day in high spirits. It's an energetic, fresh scent with creamy goodness that's also pleasantly warm with the patchouli & Cedar; there's also some Ambergris underlying this whole tapestry that is just so indulgent. 11. Flagship: A nice fresh, multi-faceted citrusy menagerie, with a lightly creamy contrast evident in the background here & there. Didn't know you could enjoy such a variety of citrus notes in one fragrance, able to pick each one out as it individually presents itself while also enjoying the whole they create in their contribution. These scents make me look forward to starting my day, knowing I get to enjoy these throughout my itinerary. 12. Royal Chariot Attar: A sprayable Attar of Parfums de Marly Layton, 2016 variant. This has to be my current favorite. Just an AMAZING experience that lasts the whole day. Opens with apple & vanilla & creamy Sandalwood, bordering on gourmand. So tasty is this opening. Bright, rich, creamy. There's some mandarin orange, Lavender, Guaiac Wood in here, too. You actually can detect all these notes throughout the evolution of this fragrance from the opening through the dry down. It's provoked me to investigate & study these notes to understand what these amazing scent elements are that I'm experiencing. This olfactory creation will make you & most anyone around you happy & relaxed. Women compliment me on this fragrance every time I wear it. It's just superb. The Guaiac is a fixative that carries through in the background with it's faint rose influence noticed from time-to-time. Two spray is more than enough; anything more & you'll be rolling down the car windows for the first couple hours to avoid being overwhelmed. 12.
  19. My face does look preternaturally large in this pic. Ah well; it's just a whole lotta handsome. =D
