  1. ...but I've got soft hands, it's a real game changer.
  2. I liked the story he related of kicking some gangsters' asses when he caught one wearing his stolen jacket. Great reads: https://www.amazon.com/Sean-Connery-Neither-Shaken-Stirred/dp/0751540978 https://www.amazon.com/Sean-Connery-Celebration-Robert-Sellers/dp/0709067917
  3. N00oooo.... Knew there was a disturbance in the force. RIP. He shoulda been a Jedi in one of the movies.... bitch slap Darth somebody or other.
  4. Only one I've taken recently is this:
  5. It's a privilege to witness him perform with the greats like BB King, Albert King, Albert Collins, Buddy Guy, Johnny Copeland. Their high regard for each other makes it even more enjoyable to watch.
  6. Still miss him. The song he's performing is one he wrote for his friend Charley Wirz after his passing. The guitar "Charley" was custom made for Stevie by Charlie & is the one he uses when playing this song. One of my favorites of his, and one of my favorite versions he performs.
  7. Yes, I like to work my wood quite often. I'll show myself out. Seriously, 'shop class' in high school was fun, especially the lessons on working leather & wood. Still have that Mahogany cup rack I made when I was 15. Funny thing is: The finishing room, where wood pieces which had been lacquered were placed to dry & cure, had a huge fan in the ceiling to draw out the flammable vapors. Was a great spot to sneak a smoke during class... just flick the cig up when the teach was coming. He was wise to these things. This one girl, who wasn't supposed to be in there, decided to hide in a stand-alone locker when she realized he was looking for her. He knew, somehow, that she was in there. He gestures, grinning, for us to remain silent. He was a huge bear of a guy. He bear hugs the locker & gives it a good shake. She came stumbling out wondering what the fuck just happened, in such a hurry that she ran right into him. That shit was hilarious. The smell of different woods as they're being sawed or routed is something I really enjoy, & can conjure memories of when I or someone else has worked that type of wood in the past.
  8. You wanna impress me?! Then do this: https://youtu.be/LUWxNS_XDWQ
  9. Yeah, it interesting when shit starts to get real. A few of 'em looked like they wanted to kick somebody's or something's ass.
  10. ...this time with Matthew McConaughey. Fun interview of one of my favorite actors/people I've never met. Interesting guy, a real Renaissance Mensch; plus the cool factor & that he's friends with Woody Harrelson. They both got that trippin' on life thing. Be great to hang out & party with. They need to get Sam Jackson on here. "I'VE HAD IT WITH THESE MOTHERFUCKING SAUCES ON THESE MOTHERFUCKING WINGS!!! (said no black man, ever)...as Biden would probably say: If you don't like these sauces, then you're not black! If you're actually reading this part, you're a really dedicated individual & probably also need to get a life. (I could be totally wrong about those last couple of things). It's a great series, I highly recommend looking through the videos if you like interesting people and some really cool interviews.
  11. Gonna make some Mornay sauce for the last piece tomorrow.
  12. Damn, that's one sore hen. Poor rooster gonna feel like a hotdog in a hallway.
  13. Oh, is your monitor that reflective? Musta given you a fright!
  14. After 2 push-ups & a sit-up & 1/2 a curl, it's time to eat something before the day, again starts in earnest. Be well & safe out there, kids. BTW, it's oats cooked in milk with a nanner cut into it topped with some cinnamon & clover honey.
  15. Sure thing, buddy. When I have the time, I do. Gonna make a couple vids in the near future. One of me making a trip to my favorite brewer's supply shop for beer & wine making supplies. The other to Bernheim Forest to record the turning of the trees. Really is a beautiful place. More importantly, how are you doing these days, brother? Oh yeah, & let's see some videographic expositing of your not inconsiderable culinary abilities. It would be fun. Like pulling teeth around here to get folks to record something.
  16. Yeah, I was hungry though, or I would'a.
  17. Quick 'n' Easy... & a little bit cheesy.
  18. Watched the video. Hope your friend is successful. Having been around since the beginning of rap ~40 years ago witnessing the likes of Sugar Hill Gang with Rapper's Delight, Grandmaster Flash with The Message, RunDMC, Kurtis Blow, NWA, Dr. Dre, etc., it was enjoyable to see the innovation. The genre has long ago become stale, banal, tedious with played out repetitive base beats & monotonous self-aggrandizing lyrics to the other end of the spectrum with repetitive cymbals & high hats with mumbling self-aggrandizing lyrics. Formulaic & tired. I miss the days of Outkast, De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest, where people created some worthwhile instrumentals & intriguing lyrics. Now it's all: I'm tough, I'm rich, smackahoe, look at my rented jewelry. Commercialized, formulaic blather. Eric Sermon, Redman, so many others. I don't even consider this Technine, Cardi B, MGK riff raff rap.
  19. I'm not gonna try & prove you wrong. Sadly, I forgot to press record when removing them from the oven. Not to worry, though! I am uploading a 2nd vid of more yardbird goodness.
  20. Tasted good; shoulda trimmed the fat or applied the sauce after pouring-off the fat like I like to do with the ribs when I make them. Would have left the sauce less diluted on the chicken.
