I normally will not use the .50 cal because of how loud it is. Sometimes I'll pick it up if I kill someone with it, but boom! One shot and everyone knows where you are. After reading your post yesterday I logged in and sniped for a map. Did pretty decent. But then it happened. 4 shots in to a player that wasn't moving, no hit marker. It was like the bullet disappeared. I'll try and record it next time and post it.

Yeah, it may not be useful on this game setup. The game I was speaking of you could revive people already dead, before they had a chance to respawn. In this case your helping people on last stand. Witch there is few people that actually use it. And then normally your not close to them when they're actually on last stand.

I agree with Pink, the sniper rifles are not that accurate. I noticed with the one that looks like a hunting rifle, it is a bit more accurate. But the other ones. I have been on large maps, hold my breath, the player does not move.. Yet it still does not hit them. Also, you should not get a hit marker from a headshot from a sniper rifle. Should be instant death. I'm for using PB, maybe put the version that works and directions for setup in not only downloads. But as a sicky in the general forum as well. I agree with everyone being forced to use the same config setup, regardless of what it is set to. Cars killing people. I'm kind of on the fence on this one. Is it annoying to get killed by a car, sure. But, the same people that are complaining, also kill people with cars. You can use flakjacket to reduce the possibility of being killed. If your choosing a different perk. Then you cannot really complain. I don't know if its possible, but I would like to see combat medic easier to revive people. On an older game, "Delta Force: Black Hawk Down", You could just thro the med pack at them like what the C4 looks like, then they have the option to res or not. Standing above them and and waiting just gets me killed. lol In all honestly, I like it the way it was when I first started playing here. Hense the reason I started playing here. I think no matter how it gets changed or how it evolves. There will always be someone who complains. It's just the nature of the game. People do not like to lose/die.

Lol. Im not sure that it makes all that much of a difference. Like a second? millisecond? IMO. Maps are predownloaded before the map. Actual game play is just a transfer of movements and attacks. And almost everyones internet is decent here. A far cry from dial up! Except I heard hammer was trying to find his 56k modem to help transfer his 5 packets setting! LOL!

Okay so...After taxes and such.. We picked up some smart tv's. Good shit.. Except the additional drain on the wifi. Noticed on weekends when everyone is on their electronics, either something wouldn't work or would work poorly. Being that my family doesn't use cable for tv. We use an internet package with Netflix and Hulu. Saved a decent amount of money, and don't have 1000 plus channels and still "nothing to watch". Watch what we want, when, commercial free. Solution. Up grading our internet package. Witch is 150mbs down, 5mbs up. To a gigabyte modem. Up to 1000mbs download, 35mbs up. Kind of wounding how this will effect my gaming ping, if at all. I feel my current speeds are good enough for gaming.. But, look forward to see what happens Friday when Xfinity comes.

Windows 10 had a common issue with causing the ram to run at 100%. Even though nothing is running. I've had this issue multiple times with a fresh install and I have 8gig of ram. I was like there's no way that's maxed out right now! So check ctrl, alt, del. Go to performance, and see what everything is running at. If your memory maxed out. It's just a bug. You can fix it in regedit.

Oh, yeah. I was never interested in any of that stuff. I was only directing the post toward fps and max packets type stuff. I'm not even interested in fov. I like the way my game is as it is. But If I can make it run smoother, that's a plus. But, disabling grass and such. I don't agree with that. Might as well take a way buildings while your at if that's the route your going.

Okay, over the past few days over seen players in server talking about changing max packets to 100. And joking about players changing it to 15 to lag out. All mine stuff is set to default. I think I tried max fps years ago. I've sense reformatted sense then, a few times. How much of a difference does it actually make? And witch ones are recommended for smoother game play? (Below is what I found from a google search for the commands. > http://cod4-guide.weebly.com/console-commands.html) Clients Commands The commands below made me better in game and helped me had a better view of everything, you should give those a try! com_maxfps 125 This is REALLY important cuz the higher the fps is, the more smoother it is in game, but just beware that even this setting can go up to 1000, however, it also depends on how good your computer is, so be careful with it. cg_fov 80 Field of view (fov) is basicily how wide you see. The higher it is, the wider you will see. It is a huge advantage for people didn't use this. However, this will make everything, your enemy, bombs, and other stuff look smaller. So still, careful with it.The defult was 60 and the max is 80, it's up to you really. r_drawdecals 1 1 is on, 0 is off. It will clean up the random trashes, papers, ashes and those stuff in the map, it will bring you a fps boost! However, some servers want you have bad fps so it will be turned off when you enter those servers. maxpackets 100 This is for people who have good fps but bad hit registrations. Defult is 30, and you should increase it to 100 if your fps is 125. snaps 30 This command tells the game how many time it update the position of a player, bullets, ect per sec. Defult is 20, 30 will make game smoother. r_drawsun 0 Turn off those stupid effects to save few fps for you. 1 is on, 0 is off. cg_brass 0 Turn off shell ejection. Not have to render them would save you a few fps. 1 is on, 0 is off.
