1: Theoretically speaking it is possible (like killstreaks and the dummy holding the ipad) but requires a significant number of assets that likely would crash the game after a time. Besides there is enough ghosting and no need to make it worse. 2: No. You dont prevent someone from playing the way they want here so long as rules are not being broken (glitches and such). I hate bunnies but wont prevent players from doing it. I DO however give extra points to those that pick them off when they are in the air. 3: Then you wouldnt be frozen. Strictly speaking you shouldnt be able to rotate either but doing so doesnt affect other players. Other they spying on them. 4: Mod already has something like that for bullet damage. Damage to your leg causes you to slow down, you cant run, and you cant jump. Not enabled here. 5: They are sniper rifles. Treat them as such. 6: 'pulling out' (double entendre?) is a game engine thing and cannot be changed. 7: For more weapons, no point. Why do so if they offer no advantages and disadvantages compared to the others. Game asset limits, not worth it. 8: See above about you fucking bunnies. 9: Dunno if its enabled, probably not, but mod also has the bounty option that points out excessive campers as objectives. Go get em for bonus points.

For Info: Going through code today to account for possible differences between local mod and the server. So next server restart small change to see if the line giving perk armor was doing the correct amount for hardcore as listed in the server configs. If it wasnt, dont expect miracles or a huge difference with the change. Maybe enough to account for one round. The default perk armor amount for hardcore is 60. However the server should be setting a custom value of 30. If this is part of the issue then I apologize. Major RL changes the last few months and may not have uploaded some updates.

Television I got for others in the family mostly nephew/niece when they visit. But they only need basic family. There really isnt much on tv that I have an interest in watching and I hate commercials. For the rest, gaming and all the files that go with it. Steam + Origin etc. Nobody ever reads that electronic distribution fine print about watching data caps. Developer stuff. Multiple simultaneous HD streams. 4K. "Alternate" sources. I never asked if internet phone counts as data nor how much it actually generates. Much of it isnt consistent over time but does require month by month watching to see. The comcast unlimited plan is 50 bucks so I would have to really need it to get unlimited however.

One problem with HC that has no possibility of health+protection above 30 points is that the choice between power vs rof vs accuracy in your choice of weapon is irrelevant. The only one left is choosing accuracy over ammo count, depending on if you aim or spray. As it stands now, there is the possibility that power and rof are also factors when making the choice. Also, because some option chosen by the enemy causes you to sometimes die doesnt mean it is overpowered. It means it is still possible to do everything right yet still lose. Now if AP is not behaving as it should under some unexpected conditions that is an issue that needs to be dealt with. But I have seen no evidence of this. I would need to see both a clear example of it not working along with seeing that the player does in fact have the perk at that time. I cannot accept anything because someone says so. If evidence shows this then its a matter of going through what happened at the time and what players did. As much information as possible that would allow me to reproduce the effect. Frankly its like deciding whether or not someone is hacking. Concrete evidence is required. Maybes arent good enough. I am certain all admins here who have dealt with hacking accusations know this very well. They want verifiable proof or will take no action.

Going to be typical tv/internet/phone for $100. So kind of a basic package to start. If usage over time suggests I need more internet bandwidth I am sure they will love it if I upgrade.

Ok that is unusual then because when I do test things out players with it always take me out in one shot. Even with my 1000 points of armor.

Ended up going with xfinity. Talked to my current local DSL provider earlier just to see what kind of speeds they can do. Been with them for a very long time and they have always provided great service. So wanted to give them a shot as well even tho without the big bundle discounts it would cost me more. Always something to be said for local companies all other things being equal. However in my area I already have the best they can reliably provide. Equipment not upgraded enough where I am and a bit too far away from where it is enough. In recommending faster service the tech also said that ATT suffers from much the same problem. If they try to sell 25 down, expect 1/2 of that max where I live. But also that Comcast can provide what they sell. So just general family tv, 25 internet, and phone. I doubt I would ever need 50 or more but could always upgrade if I need to. I would rather use the $10 for hulu or something else. I hedged but in setting it up I chose to lease a cable modem. I will look around to see who sells what. If I see something I like I suppose I can call them back and change that saying it was a mistake. Anyone have recommendations? Tried to get both of my email addys transferred to them for convenience. One did one didnt. Too common. Funny thing is, in thinking up different addys for a laugh and to see if it would work, being a Macross fan I tried sherylnome as a comcast address. Nobody took it. Including the production company. You are quite sure you had armor piercing? It works quite well. There were times I was testing things on the server... and gave myself a shitload of armor so I wouldnt constantly die since I didnt shoot people... and players with AP would almost always get me in one shot anyways. Unless they did less than 30 damage for whatever reason. If someone goes 50 and 9 its very unlikely he got deathstreak armor of course. Possibly care package armor but that is only 30 points. Another rare but possible scenario is 30+30+30 for a health-startarmor-cparmor combo. So going after someone with 90 points is going to be tough. At 90 few weapons will kill in two shots without stopping power even if close range and no obstructions. Some might say its unfair. But it only works once unlike juggy that lasts forever. For info, the SAW does 30 points damage max per round at optimum range. This is the standard game setting not mine. Which is why I like the 40 points from the RPD better. One way to get that 90. If you call in your package, and the random choice is armor, leave it there. Change your loadout the next time you are frozen to get the perk armor. Get the package. 90 points. However in doing so you are choosing not to get stealth or another perk. You also choose not to reroll for a tac nuke. So getting that one time only 60 points is pretty expensive but if people want to spend it thats their choice.

No its not about realism. Otherwise I would enable the functions that cripple you when hurt. Shot in the leg, you can only crawl. Shot in the torso, you bleed to death...similar to everyone automatically getting Venom. Shot in the arm, you cant use your weapon. Gotta use those health packs to save yourself. But it is about fairness, unpredictability and fun. Also, for new players you want to encourage them to pick up a gun and fight not camp because they dont want to die from a missing little finger. Maybe later add a new battle chatter. "Inconceivable!" Besides, the whole idea of hardcore is a misnomer. Hardcore should be just that... hard. Killing an enemy by blowing off his pinky is just lame. But I suppose everyone wants to be Luke Skywalker blowing up the massive Death Star by attacking the small thermal exhaust port just below the main port. Maybe I should do a new perk. The Force.

Ok, will reiterate then. Assuming starting 30 point perk-only body armor and perhaps a death streak (amount depending on 3/5/7 deaths) yes this can happen. Also care package armor. Since its one of the two most common rewards (the other being ammo) there can be quite a bit of it especially in a full server. Tho it is unlikely someone with deathstreaks get care packages unless they steal them from an enemy. But if its 30 + 30 (health + perk armor) then two shots will kill, not accounting for outside factors that affect everybody in the game. The choice of weapon. Silencer. Range. If you are firing through an obstruction (which can be more than just simple walls) with a silencer its a double whammy. Its a fast moving game with a lot of spraying and hip fire. And yes, sometimes players will think there are two hit markers when there was only one. Players look at the enemy not screen elements. Sorry but thats the truth. If someone has all this armor because he is a poor player give him a break. Its just meant to give him a chance instead of constantly being frozen and scratching his ass while he waits for one of you to defrost him. I *could* maybe do something where headshots do more damage against those with armor because realistically it is more significant than the torso. But I am not taking it out. However if I do that then the opposite with hit location modifiers should be enabled. If headshots are supposed to be considered heavier damage then feet and hands should be lighter damage. You can all discuss and see if this trade off is fair.

I watched both vids posted yesterday. I didnt see anything out of the ordinary. Except perhaps a tendency to always keep to the same locations.
