An option was added for server admins to choose whether or not drop sentries on death should be disabled. By default it is to drop it. I think. There is an unbelievable amount of code so I forget things. I will have to be rude here even tho I dont like to be. The old ACR was the most noobish assault rifle I have ever seen. Only an aimbot is worse. There is no way I will ever put that back. At first I tried just balancing it correctly. Either as fullauto or a direct M16 replacement. But that didnt work with people still complaining. I wish I could leave it in, balanced correctly, because it is an excellent model Sanya did for the mod. But I was left with only one option and that was it. Oh and dont like the mod at all? Boo-hoo. Cry me a river.

For the sniper rifles, get the no-sway attachment at the cost of less damage. In HC that really doesnt matter but no-sway rifles are way too easy and need a cost/benefit balance. Problem solved. No you cannot shoot through the ice. The benefit is that you can defrost by hitting it. You no longer need to hit just the player. Catch-22. There were many more complaints about not being able to defrost at a distance. So that took priority. Since the ice shrinks instead of dropping it doesnt take long for it to get small enough that there is no need to shoot through it. Knowing that there is a little bit of protection means you might get more people doing proximity defrosts and you can shoot them as soon as the frozen player vanishes. Besides, how logical is it that ice freezes players but somehow cant even stop a pea shooter? edit: The crosshairs were put there for debugging purposes and by default are supposed to be off. Even so some like it, others dont. It can be shut off. Talk to the server admins.

True nothing is perfect. But if you have XP then FF has the benefit of still being supported. So there isnt much else of a choice. Except running it in a sandbox, if that even works. As always it depends on where you go. My internet use is pretty limited and I dont go to very many new websites unless I know for sure they are legit. I also use very strict script blockers in addition to the anti-adware stuff to block known bad sites so maybe that helps. Oh and never, ever go to a website with the .ru extension. China is obviously also pretty bad.
