  1. For a game company that makes billions every year they cant afford to spend a few crumbs to keep this going? Pathetic.
  2. Personally I like the no-sway sniper rifles because the regular ones have always been a little buggy. But the no-sway ones are too easy to use. To compensate the best solution is to reduce damage (which is 70 points for all of them stock) dramatically for HC and also possibly some hit location modifiers. Its pretty silly to kill other players by shooting them in the foot. So it becomes a choice. Do people want to deal with the sway or accept a less powerful weapon. Cant have both.
  3. Enjoy it while it lasts. Unfortunately lower scale testing outside of a large game cannot find everything and there are always little things that nobody thinks about. In this case its a direct result of adding the round carry-over code so people dont lose undeployed sentryguns. But considering its free.... unlike the buggy as hell BF4.... the sentrygun bug is more funny than annoying. Besides if the other team has 10 deployed there is an easy way to beat all of them with stealth. I suppose the bug shows how useful it can be. Anyways, the round carryover for undeployed sentry nades and sam launchers seemed to be missing so I will be uploading fixes to Rugger today or tomorrow.

  8. Ok checking out the error log this morning. A question to those that lost scores. Did you have a care package taken by a friendly in that round?
  9. ACR has a little bit of sway but not alot. Last time it had none at all which made it too easy for long distance shots. In certain parlance it would be considered a noob gun. The weird look with snowflakes sounds like counter-uav.

  12. Wow. Actually that is good from a developer point of view. Knowing that there are 20 going all at once without problems makes me happy. But in all seriousness, I uploaded a fixed sentrygun file to Rugger and when he puts it on and restarts the server all should be good.
  13. Helicopters and the AC130 will drop close to your marker but not exactly on top of it. So it is best to have a decent amount of room around it. Unfortunately I cant add physics to them. MW2/3 uses tricks that involves building special brushes into the maps that are used for collision. When needed it grabs one, or maybe clones it, and uses it for the drop and also for player collision. Maybe they changed that with Ghost tho.

  15. Crossing my fingers. Anyways, yea the sentrygun 'ondeath' part was one of my 'doh' moments were I didnt include one line. Just one. Thank you for posting that instead of keeping quiet and enjoying the glitch.

  17. A score for not picking a package? The only way that would happen is if there is some 'end of round' score setting. I cant imagine why I could add such a thing but I will look to be sure. Are there any more end-of-round CI's? When it did happen before the error itself was near where certain scores are given and I thought it was maybe related but the problem itself should have been fixed.
  18. There is an optional setting for losing points due to team kills but by default it is off. But even if it was enabled the tac nuke is exempted anyways. I will check it all out again to be sure. However if it is certain that after using one the player does lose points let me know. During all the testing I get tac nukes all the time but never saw my score declining. Another possibility is how many points do you get for 21 kills and 12 assists? I dont know what the settings are. The assist itself just means 1 full defrost, or a combination of partials that = 1 full. I am wondering if all those high scores are getting extra bonuses for killing sprees and things like that. They can add up.
  19. That certainly is weird. All I can think of is that maybe points got taken away. Can anyone think of any situations in the game, this mod or anything else, where people lost points? Doesnt have to be gameplay related. Its pretty difficult to track down a problem if I dont know where to look.
  20. Not touching any weapons. Any. Nope. Nadda. Uh uh. The way grips work is that they do not extend range or anything else like that. That includes recoil. The only thing it does is increase centering time after each round which obviously increases accuracy when firing multiple rounds. This is not anything I did but how all non-custom weapons work as well as custom. As for the sentry I will get a fix to Rugger as soon as I can so he can upload it. In the mean time the other team can do this also. I can imagine the mayhem.
  21. That sounds like a bug. I made a small change that was meant to allow players to keep secured but undeployed sentries in between rounds. It does not include care packages that were not secured yet so the marker when used is lost. Sounds like if you secured it but have not yet deployed it, are frozen, and it is dropped where frozen you get another when unfrozen. Is this right? If so that means I forgot something in the drop sentry on death code. Not a good thing and can be exploited.
  22. Not really, unless there was something like a map rotation done. Each map would have to be tested and the desired strength entered into the list. But then it gets to be a mess to handle whenever maps are changed. In any case helicopters nor airstrikes are changed based on map size either. This one is too weak. This one is too powerful. I feel like Goldilocks.
  23. Wait. You got one. Deployed it normally. Died. Then got one again? Do you mean one that was already picked up or the marker?
