Yes it stays that way. After all, its *supposed* to be that you are never invisible to begin with. You are standing there while driving the car around and can be shot as in the stock games. That's the default setting and this option is a compromise. Its a lot easier than say S&D where you may be the last one left and have to spend the time planting or defusing the bomb. Or even more so, compared to this how many times have you been shot while in the middle of reloading a machine gun or some other gun?

Throttling can be monitored these days relatively easily and the last time some company tried to get away with it they had to back down due to consumer backlash. Once Comcast starts to try throttling Netflix... or Disney... watch the shit fly. Disney is buying 20th Century Fox. So they will have a huge library to expand their own online video service. They wont be happy if ATT or Comcast throttles them. And more than that, they have pretty big clout in congress with lots of money to throw around. So FCC or not they can put such rules into law.

There are a lot of good 'use' and 'achieve' ones there. Wish I could get them for the mod stuff like the defrosters and Duke.

Ok this should maybe move people from a certain other thread to provoke discussion. After long term viewing of gameplay, careful consideration, opinion, and requests the RC-XD will be split into two. One explosive the other defroster. Makes the defroster part consistent with the other streaks. Both will have a kill requirement of three. So you must choose one or the other. Unless you die and change your loadout and earn another award in a different slot. Thus far the balances will be: RC-XD: No defrost of course and normal speed. Maybe x1.5. Not the current speed demon. That will require game play testing to see how it goes. Dont want a nerfed car. RC-Defrost: No manual trigger since no explosives and lasts until the timer is out or it is destroyed. Because it cannot defend itself it will maintain its current fast speed and be somewhat stealthy in terms of quietness and visibility by sentryguns. More health since enemies can move in close without fear of death and shoot it while its defrosting. Both are still affected by EMP + CM mine the same. No change to climbing or jumping. Will be interesting to see which players want which streak. Defrost your team. Or make a kill.

Ok thats interesting. Then again, some might get frustrated by it if over time its the same nemesis over and over.

One problem for that kind of idea is boosting. Keep near your spawn, let yourself get shot three times, and have your buddy keep defrosting you. He gets a car. And yes... there are people on this server that will do it if it means they win.

I will see what I can do for adding 'most defrosts'. Note that the number is the amalgamated number of 'completed' defrosts that could be split among 1/2 defrosts on two players. Things can be done for a score-based system as it works now. But it would have to be one or the other. Either points or strictly kills. In which case you can make full defrosts 100 points and kills 10. However to make it so that the three streaks are different (one offensive, one defensive, one support) would be a big job. Its all stable as-is and dont want to open that can of worms.

Hi Anyone still have MW2 or 3 installed? I dont have either and am looking for some of the MP battlechatter and informs for a few things that I am missing. They should be in the iwds probably as wav files or ogg. The goal is to get a few from the different factions, opfor, us, uk, ru, that are close enough to the cod4 voice actors. Opfor are the hardest to get because the more recent games dont have them as enemies anymore. Out of fashion I suppose. I could use the cuban or chinese dialogs I have just so they arent in english but that might be a little weird. Tho I suppose I could just say that the opfor team is bilingual and also speak chinese. Thx.

The machine itself seems to be rebooting? Current total uptime is a bit over 5 hours. Also a notification a week ago about firmware issues and packet loss in NY that they are trying to figure out. So maybe two things.

Uh huh. There IS an update. No ACR. Nope. Nadda. I assume maybe you were paying attention to the thread that shows some of whats new.

Added cgc bog, which is a nice daylight version, and cgc citystreets to the top of the current rotation. So with the three custom versions of stock maps the only one incompatible is Broadcast. Nobody has made a custom version as far as I know.

Uh, no. That is because the cod4 aimbot is only coded to work on consoles. Has nothing to do with how your mouse/keys are set up. But you are free to try for yourself. Well, except for aimbot hacks I suppose.

Keep in mind that controllers for cod4 on a pc wont use the console aimbot.
