I've carried a weapon most of my adult life --never really thought about it as coming from a military family we were raised around weapons and their proper use and I taught my children (1 daughter , 2 sons ) the same way I was taught . I've found through life experience, its always better to have a weapon and never have to use it then to need one and not have it available. My wife carries a .38 I carry a .45 , I have met few people in oklahoma that do not carry and firmly believe that though I live in an area of ranches and large acreage , there is very little crime here --criminals know they will meet armed resistance and seek easier prey. As a consultant to Law enforcement and part of the cleet training centers team of instructors here I often share my own personal experiences with members of the class ---both on the civilian side and the military side , I have never had any class that did not wonder how with me growing up in Los Angeles , CA. from 1 to age 17 (then the marine corps took me away to exotic locations ) I had few problems with anyone even though my home was in the middle of Gang territory yet when we went back to visit friends a few years after I left ---my wife was at a stoplight and a youth attempted to car jack her --when he opened the passenger door to get into the vehicle he was met with her .38 in his face and he chose to back out of the vehicle and run away rather then risk his life , all of us can only imagine what may have happened had my wife not been properly trained and ready to respond defensively in such a situation. One of the most fundamental rights an American has that many in this world do not is the right to bare arms , giving them the ability to protect themselves and their loved ones should they ever have too . One should never feel threatened by a decent law abiding citizen that is armed --to the contrary it should make those around them feel comfortable in the knowledge that they have the capacity to protect themselves should it ever be necessary . To those that do not own guns or for whatever reason are against them I always challenge that I will put up any money you think you can cover that when the shit hits the fan you will later be thankful there was somebody there that was able to at least make a legitimate attempt to protect you and your loved ones from an armed adversary . My students often ask have I ever had to take a human life with my firearm and its an important part of there lessons to realize the answer . Yes both in civilian life in defense of my families lives and more enemies than I care to remember in my many tours of duty , they need to understand its the human being behind the weapon that did the deed not the weapon itself as a gun is just an inert object in order for it to function properly it must have a human being manipulating it --the lesson always ends with me telling them I hope they are NEVER in a position where they are forced to use lethal force and after I relate how I have trouble sleeping often and have vividly detailed dreams of each and every killshot ---it helps to bring home the responsibility that comes with the choice to arm oneself. Guns are not for everyone , however I am glad myself and my family was raised to support the second amendment. I would have to agree with Gorilla in that guns are an effective means in reducing violent crime ---think about what might have happened had faculty members been armed when a violent shooter comes in and attempts to randomly take innocent lives ? most likely they would not have gotten far before a citizen could have stopped them , saving many lives. Generally we allow people to play how they want --however most admins will assist you if you have a goober that is spawn camping maps regularly --ask a member we can usually find an admin on x-fire if assistance is needed ---my policy on a spawn camper is to a seek and destroy them over many maps and usually they get the message and leave although some are reluctant try c-4 on them a few times --usually works .

Looks good and seeing the active dialogue with the producers of the game is always a good thing as it shows they are smart enough to realize consumer input is vital to them finding a platform/package that appeals to the majority of gamers out there --would be interested in checking it out for sure and interested in seeing how it shapes up . alot of things can effect ping and with windows 7 's innate security layers it can get really tough and aggravating when you first switch all your machines to the operating system to figure it out --it really annoyed me that now I have to learn port config and forwarding for not only my firewalls but my router again but is the price we pay to play --- all in all the operating system does alot of things better and more efficiently then the previous versions . If you do not use a bigfoot network card that prioritizes your game info /traffic automatically some port configuration may be in order--- each game out today often has this info on there forum pages as many run into this problem as the game traffic is not getting through the window's firewall or your router properly (had a headache with dragon age origins ultimate and Battlefield Bad company until I learned how to set up the ports necessary to allow the games to run on windows7 x64 ) As many have stated in this post , do a trace route on your current ip ---many isp's have this on there tools page for free (mine does ) or you can goto www.pcpitstop.com and use there free utility to find out if your problem may lie with you or your isp and then go from there. Got it as a christmas present myself , so far has been fun --have not seen too many people hacking on it and its very easy to level up --had a full server of XI members playing it on sunday and had a blast . Looking forward to seeing you in game ---keep it Innate mutiprocessor support , multiple GPU support and Directx 11 game , whats not to love ? SCooBY

Played it a lil while when it first came out --then stopped when clan interest slacked off --- re -installed it again as many will get it for christmas increasing the chance of targets on the servers to kill --- I play Battlefield Bad Company , COD black ops , cod4 freezetag usually , Left4Dead2 and of course raid 6 days a week on EverCrack (everquest) , I still don't play modern warfare --no way to keep out the lame ass hackers and since I wont cheat no fun going up against people that do . Look me up if you are online my xfire is lzscooby and in game names for the shooters are SCooBY<XI< save for battlefield bad company as had To do SCooBY1 as somebody snaked reg SCooB name before I purchased my copy of the game I make my own schedule so really not a set time I play --basically when I feel like it - Cya on the battlefield . Im a hardcore Everquest player since it beta'ed however that is hilarious !!!! Reminds me of the temple of Veeshan days ---Oh how I miss those Dragon trains of Death !!! Terrible video but you get the idea rofl !!!

Looks great and should easily run all of the fps games out today without sweating ---kudo's on switching to water cooling , with the high thermal output of today's processors , vid cards etc... its a good way to go as water cooling effectively gets the heat away from your components --- I will never go back to an air cooled system ! Looks like you left a decent amount of room for upgrading , only thing I would change if it was me would be going with the ati 4870 1gb ddr5 graphic card instead as it runs just as fast if not faster than the one you selected though it is a few hundred dollars cheaper. also your case has plenty of room to add another graphic card for crossfire should you decide to go that way (not that you would need it on an fps but if you play mmorgs ,rts or other graphically heavy games could come in handy )

Being called a hacker aka cheater --is not ok and its nothing to look up to or be proud of means someone believes you are a limp dick punk that needs to cheat or be dishonest while playing ... it saddens me that our younger generation throws around this word like its nothing --same as they call each other bitches and the african americans are often overheard calling each other the N word but wanna shoot you if you say it to them as your skin is not the same shade of brown . I once removed a player from a former clan of mine for naming himself hacker and refusing to change it while wearing our tags as if it was somehow ok to present to the world that my clan through this representation would ever think to cheat or be dishonest.. SCE-hidden sorry that you experienced this as we strive to treat all visitors to our sites with respect .. though many of our admins have considerable experience with those that might try to cheat and I would dought that they would voice this opinion if there was not some merit to it ... time will tell. READ AND UNDERSTAND : EXTREME IDIOTS DOES NOT SUPPORT MW2 --as they have not allowed dedicated server support for us to keep our servers free from cheaters that would ruin the game for our members and guests. MW2 is a joke , though it could have been a good game --everyone I have known that has played it says that they can go no where on there and not have to play against lame , punks that wish to cheat. I will continue to boycott the purchase of the game until they show the dedicated server support that we gamers deserve. Bad company2 however is looking to be a decent game , something I would much rather spend my hard earned money on

Best bang for your buck on the planet atm ... Read DDR 5 . We have 2 of these in the rig we use to crunch through digital satalite imagery ---I use just one on the rig I usually play Cod and other fps shooters ---I cant recall ever going below 100 fps on any map all settings maxed.(Science tells us the human eye without enhancement can only detect 80 -90 fps shrug... anything above that is gravy .) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150447
