if handy with tools bring the timing mark to zero and check the rockers (under valve cover the cyl head closest to rad) by turning crank pulley and check #1 cyl is in time in the disturb cap possible the timing chain has jumped -

sounds if usb conflicts or socket is broken, in device manager can you see the usb dean does the mouse pad still work ? if so go to laptop site and check drivers are up to date -

yes along with updating hardware software be it Network, Chipset, Bios, Gpu and a new moniter lol another thing to consider ts COOLING case air flow or water cooling Clean out dust from rads NOTE: canned air ..... never spin up any fan with blasting air on it for becomes a generator and will produce more voltage than system and damage Motherboard also do this in windows firewall or AV firewall
