I have used 2nd chance a few time...and because the F key is my defrost key...if you try to defrost someone while you are down....you kill yourself.

Thanks for checking it out.....I have definitely received more than 2 hit markers without resulting in a kill. I will keep an eye on it and see what happens..maybe I was using the P90. Also a strong possibility it was related to lag...because that has been absolute shit lately....with large random lag spikes...go around a corner...have lag spike...come back frozen with no idea how it happened.

I believe that the Ballistic Vest (I think that is the one that protect against gunfire) is overpowered. When I sneak up behind someone and shot them point blank in the back with a .50 cal...I can get 4 or 5 hit markers and they do not die...and then they are still able to turn around and kill me...that is total BS. I realize this is a game...but come on...we are shooting for some level of realism here. There is absolutely no benefit to sneaking around or run and gun, if you can get that good of a drop on someone...and it does you no good and they still kill you. I am using double tap (high rate of fire)...so If I can shoot someone point blank with double the rate of fire...and their vest still allows them to survive and kill me...that is OP in my opinion.

@@Sammy, I know there had been a brief discussion about just allowing the perks to all be in one big list, and letting you simply choose which 3 you wanted. Can we talk about trying that option, or is that too complicated to implement? It would seem to me having the ability to basically have unlimited combinations of perks would be quite fun to play around with. In any event, I do like the layout you just decided on going with.

I would have to agree with Drama...I prefer having the list of kill streaks visible at all times. Not only for knowing what you have...but so that you can prevent choosing the wrong streak at the wrong time. Several times I have meant to go into my car when in a precarious situation...and out pops the grenade for a care package.....not helpful when deep in enemy territory lol.

The only real issue I have with this mod, is the fact that the car moves very fast, and yet the deployment of an EMP takes forever. When I see a car racing towards me from 100 fee away...if I deploy my EMP as soon as I see it heading my direction, by the time it flies out...the car has gotten to me, and the EMP has overshot the car by 50 feet.

If you do this....it will eliminate the bitching...for a few days....until people are bitching about the scores of those that wish to push the limits of balance and take load outs that are heavily skewed in their favor....so you really can't win. I am happy with whatever you decide to do, and I am just excited about doing new things with this game and spicing it up a bit with some variety. I still wish that there was a "gambler" button that would give you a totally random setup for everything (weapons and perks and killstreaks). I like playing with a different variety of setups all the time just to have fun doing different things.

If car is going to be so much faster...than EMP needs to deploy faster than it does IMO.

Sammy, I had something strange happen yesterday....I had one of those situations where I shot someone at the same time they shot me..I saw the hit markers for hitting them....then I was instantly frozen, but they did not die/get frozen. Someone defrosted me...and about 2 seconds after I was re-spawned...I saw that I had killed someone on the screen (even though I just re-spawned and had not fired my weapon yet)..so I presume it was the guy from before. Just thought you might want to know if there is something to investigate. BTW...I love this mod, and greatly appreciate your work on it.

I love it...and I like the opportunity to learn new systems and get good using new set ups and techniques. At least give it a little while before slamming it.

Is it possible to get some of those maps back in the freeze tag rotation next time where everyone is miniaturized? I particularly like the one that is set in a bedroom with all of those classic video game boxes and other cool stuff on shelves everywhere.

I like the "gambler" option for perk #3. Is there any way to create the similar option to have a totally random setup for everything? (guns and all perks) I would enjoy playing that way every now and again.

I love my '09 F150....but it is 6 years old now...so it may be time to start thinking about an upgrade. Thinking this F450 might have my name on it.
