come on I've solved this Go C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Activision\CoDWaW and delete your server cache.dat file That will clear up the mess. Then you have to rebuild your fav list.

Some questions Does your user manual for your MB say any thing about the indilnx Barefoot 3 series controller (That should be the controller on your HD )and your Mother board or vice versa does your HD manual give you any idea if it needs a driver before the OS installation ? Or does your HD need the AHCI turned on in BIOS before you load your OS ? I did not look but make sure you hook up the HD to a sata 6 port on your MB Don't think I forgot anything here . If I did I'm sure somebody will let us know. Try to have those questions answered Mark before going forward.

Ping does not have very much to do with game play. I have a ping from 85 to 120 its latency that kills me. And ask Olive if a high ping stops him from running the board

The DM server should drop you after 30 seconds and then you can go back in. Another way is join another server leave it and go back to the DM server.

I forgot Dean if your FPS is set to 0 your monitor is off - I should add that if you set it to 0 somewhere in the game its setting up a default FPS. to see it it game you can run fraps or do this Open up config.cfg in notepad > hit ctrl + f , be sure to have your cursor at the very first > type in fps, it should take you to cg_drawFPS "0" > change that 0 to 1 > find the next fps and change max fps to 500 or whatever

I can only hope that solves your problem BUT

what is the file dir they gave you ? there are 2 palces for it one is with so old some protection on then its in some virtual place the other is appdata local

Just so we do not go there I for one will not reduce the allowable ping to below 300 we do have players from around the world and I like that.

This is such a hard thing to hunt done . It can be the master server, our server, the game, the mod, the map rotation, the map, or even an odd coincidence of players isp screwing up the moment. If it would be less erratic in its nature it would be easyer to nail down. Also lets not forget that nobody is going to admit to it being there fault because they would have to assume responsibility for it. So everybody finds it easyer to say its not us. On the bright side this kinda thing usually clears itself up in a week or so. (which makes me add the map rotation thing to the problem) For the mod we do have the max ping set to 300 and the antilag is turned on so there's not much more we can do there. More FX I say MORE Your map works fine in COD5 This is for your COD4 map you just released Thank You. Maybe a COD4 admin can list the mods.(not the names but what type of mod) My guess is k13 freeze tag I think its from OW, Ace mod, and OW 2 Might have an AWE in there not sure been so many years I looked at COD4 P.S. That quote is from Beers and he was giving the COD4 admins a hint on how to test the map out on the servers . It in no way meant it did not work on the ace mod but if it did not it would probably not work on the rest. He a funny guy -
