  1. OK @@hxtr, this is what I get for listening to you. Reminded me of all the wasted hours we spent smoking & drinking in our youth.
  2. Ohhhh baby, see what you've become? Congratulations, it's all over now!
  3. Happy Birthday ViPRZ! Have a grand old day, and enjoy yourself!
  4. You can only sweep so much, inventory so much, and respond to emails so many times. Feast or famine, that's life in the ag arena. At least I haven't stooped to working for the EPA. Be nice to me Bart, my taxes are covering your retirement. Wondering who'll be left to cover mine?
  5. DosBox & WinApple are two emulators I use @ work. In our off season there is time to kill, and old strategy games fill the bill. Not to mention the computer I'm using is built on an H8SSL motherboard, 8meg of video ram onboard. No graphics intensive games here. Nope. Two of my favorite Apple 2 games are Guadalcanal & Bomb Alley. BA is the Mediterranean theater, played from the Axis viewpoint. All the Italian navy & German u-boats are available, and I have won the game by having the DAK take Alexandria. I'd like to play a more land intensive version, hence Desert Rats (also downloaded Rommel: Battles in North Africa). If you've ever played Avalon Hill's board games, you know the rules are intensive. Same with some of the old Strategic Simulations games. Trying to play one w/o a rule book sux, I don't have THAT much time to kill.
  6. Anybody have a game manual for Desert Rats, The North African Campaign? Published by Cases in the UK back in 1988. Running under DosBox, but the learning curve is a bit steep without a rule book. Found one online, but it isn't complete. Thanks! LCB
  7. Happy Birthday you cagy cajun! Have a great day!
  8. Irony? This should be the definition of irony. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-34226003
  9. Happy Birthday Codpiece! Have a great day
  10. Hey Bromo, Happy Birthday! Haven't seen you in a bit, stop by the dm server for a little Loader love.
  11. Happy Birthday Exitus, have a wonderful day!
  12. Happy Birthday Baldie! Enjoy yourself!
  13. That's my point Pete. The PC idea was a crock o' dung back in the nineties. There is no way you can have freedom of speech, without offending someone, somewhere. Massive contadiction, and impossible to implement. All it does is create alleys of impasse, and actual work and learning crash to a halt, trying to resolve the dilemma. An attorney's cherished goal, because that's how they profit.
  14. Happy Birthday Frags, day late, but hope you enjoyed your B-day!
  15. Same pc over reaction. I remember assembling a Junkers 88 model, and having to purchase authentic decals from another source. Really? You're afraid of a dead symbol? Talk about weak & timid, history is what it is, guit trying to remake the world into a phoney haven. Won't be long and we'll all be served pureed baby food in a plain white wrapper. Oh, sorry, some people are offended by the color white.
  16. Happy Birthday MadMonk, have a splendid day!
  17. Happy Birthday Geforce, have a great day!
  18. LOM is just kidding. Singing wasn't invented yet when he was installed in the world.
  19. Holy sh.......how awful. No wonder I have no self esteem. Time for another draught
  20. Happy Birthday Ciiinndy! Have a great day!
  21. Happy Birthday Leadfinger, have yourself a marvelous day!
  22. I have to agree with Harry. Sad day when it was decided to close our mental health facilities, and administer drugs as a substitute for real psychological treatment.
  23. Happy Birthday Animal! Have a wonderful day! Prost!
  24. Happy B-day Lead, have a wonderful day!
