Spoke too soon in an earlier post. Main water line to the house froze Saturday morning. Spent the weekend unsuccessfully trying to back flush & break it free. Luckily it's out on the village side. Uncovered the buffalo box this morning & they're coming to jet the mess tomorrow. In the meantime, we're in the middle of another snow storm, 5" and counting as of 13:45 Central. Plowed out the driveway for my wife & we're off to my Mother-in-laws for a shower, dinner, and beverages. Ta-ta everyone. LCB

Remember Laz, their reports are given in Celsius. We have been regularly -20C overnight and a couple of weeks ago we hit -27c. Cold & snow together no matter what scale you use. Luckily, we have the snow cover, or we would have a rash of broken pipes. I'll agree with Nick, when you said turtle head, it meant something entirely different to me....... At least the flag is still flying. -
Pic down our driveway this morning. Got Lori to work, I'm going in this afternoon, but have to plow out the neighbors yet....... My trusty shovel, rebuilt this 51' 8n as a pet, but it's seen some rough duty lately. Family from Palm Desert landed in Midway last night, drove out here & are staying overnight...what a treat for them. Hope this makes them appreciate California a little more. Keep warm everyone, I'm lighting the fireplace and thawing out.
