The power to the shop has it's own meter/power line from the pole... No cable, My internet is fiber optic direct to the house...I get it from the local phone company and it would be costly to have it run to the shop...

My shop building is about 350' from the house...I want to be able to use my laptop there but run out of signal at about 300'...I have been reading about wifi extenders and how they can reach any room in a house but haven't read anywhere about them extending to outside structures...will an extender work for what I want and if so what would be a good one to get?

ACHI is the mode that an SSD uses to communicate..."Standard IDE" is the default mode...In the BIOS you change from "Standard IDE" to "ACHI" or "RAID" if you are configuring a RAID setup...
