Treyarch discuss possibility of a futuristic Call of Duty PC Gamer A Game Director at Treyarch has said that a Call of Duty game set in the future "would be pretty fantastic". When asked if Treyarch would be up for creating a futuristic Call of Duty, he said "I think the answer is 'yes.'"Game Director David Vonderhaar was talking to Machinima about the future of the Call of Duty series when he made the comments, saying "we have not announced any new Call of Duty games at this time but to answer his specific question I think, personally, it would be pretty fantastic to do near-future, you know? Not necessarily far-future,” adding that "I think it would be kind of a unique opportunity but the way that this works out is obviously more complicated than ‘Hey. Me and Treyarch are going to make a near-future shooter.’ It’s a tough question to answer."Development of the Call of Duty games is handed off between Treyarch and Infinity Ward. Treyarch made last year's Call of Duty: Black Ops, and it looks as though a team effort from Infinity Ward, Raven and Sledgehammer will bring us Modern Warfare 3 later this year. See here is the thing we had an unranked server that I set up as mixed to run like our CTF/DEM/DOM server and what happened non of you wanted to play on it cause you didnt get to rank up. So it sat empty, And Greywolf and myself was working to get it where it was hardcore and no teamkills. The server was there but no one wanted to play it cause you wasnt ranking and unlocking weapons or perks. So it was let go.

This could of been done on the unranked server As we had control over weapons that was allowed and not allowed. Now on the ranked server limitings wapons and just doing shotguns only I dont see it happening. Cause I remember having a convo with Grey in which he said to me that servers that was running like sniper only or knife only servers that got reported ended up losing there servers. Now if I am wrong I am sure Greywolf will clarify it for us. We did have the unranked but every1 is so worried about ranking up than having fun so the server didnt get trafic so we switched it over to a ranked softcore mixed gametype.

If your having problems playing Black Ops try what I am about to tell you all. Yesterday I helped Phantom and it helped him alot. First Download Black Ops Configuration Utility Now Unrar and place the Utility on your desktop Now run the Utility Now I will add some pics that shows what to have check and unchecked in each section unless otherwise noted under each pic. Note: Click on pic for larger view to see what to check and uncheck. No you See in the first part read only make sure it is unchecked cause when your done and you save the changes if it is not unchecked next time you start the game the changes wont be there. Now Fore the MultiGPU if your not running more than one GPU leave that Box Unchecked Now onto the MultiThreading Now only Enable if you have more than 1 core in your CPU After you have set all your setting to how they look in the pics Click on File at the upper left hand corner of the Utility and save Now download Prio - Priority Saver 1.99 - program allows you to save the priority you specify for any process. prio.exe 32-bit version 485 Kb prio_x64.exe 64-bit version 542 Kb And install and I recommend rebooting after install Note: I recommend installing cause if you dont when you do the following steps below they wont stay permanent meaning you will have to do this step every single time you start your game. Now start up your game and then miniumize the game by ALT/TAB and start your task manager and goto processes under the processes tab look for BlackOpsMP.exe*32 right click on it and goto set priority and set it to high when u do this a window will pop up and just click change priority Now look for GameOverlayUI.exe*32 right click on it and goto set priority and set it to high when u do this a window will pop up and just click change priority Now find Steam.exe*32 right click on it and goto set priority and set it to low when u do this a window will pop up and just click change priority Now having problems finding the servers this has worked for many Start your steam now find your steam icon in your system tray right click on the icon and select Library A list of your games will appear now right click on Call of Duty Black Ops Multiplayer and select properties Click on the Local Files Tab And then VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME CACHE let the process run Then start up your game and search for our servers They should show up I hope this helps many of you who are having problems with Black Ops it has helped many so far
