You just won't let this go will you lol... this topic was for the last major upgrade.. there were several major updates since this one which were not worth announcing. The clubs feature came in on the last one and you have already posted on the topic where I announced the change. It was this one: As for the "having to be a member of the club to comment" - that introduction topic lists all of the types of clubs and as I replied to you (also on that topic) it does not have to be that way, I am simply experimenting. So far only one test subject appears to be having a serious allergic reaction, a few minor ones but the majority seem to be OK with it. Have you considered just trying it out? I don't really get what your deal is with it lol...

@7Toes you are right.. I very rarely consult when I make a change to the dedicated servers or website. Sometimes however with big ones like the Clubs change I do go out to the members but the majority of the time do not get feedback unless I make a change.

@7Toes you're right and it doesn't have to be that way. I am simply forcing the use of the clubs for now whilst we work through the usages. In the future I will probably change and play with the different club types. You are just an experiment that I am running for GCHQ..

That's a fair comment, it's still very work in progress so I imagine we will go through some teething problems As it stands the two 'changes' are that the forum no longer displays on the forums page and that you have to join the club to post in that section. Everything else is the same and posts will still display in the feed on the homepage for all to see. The navigation and low profile comments are something I am aware of and haven't put much time into yet - what ideas would you have to make it higher profile and easier navigation?. One I had would be to have a drop down on the top bar with direct links to the club section.

Yeah @Dukoo that's kind of where i want to take it in the long term - for now I'm keeping it all as open as similar as possible as so many people on here hate change. As it stands all people need to do to contribute to a club area is click a single button, not that hard @Sonovabich I would love that What I have been working on for that is the ability to have a forum for the "Happy B'Days" which can be removed from the latest posts on the homepage, then a new block on the home page low down on one side that displays them. That way everyone hopefully gets what they want. @7Toes literally at the moment it's a single button click so I don't get what isn't going to work out.. there's nothing to club that people need to actually do. Top100Clans is like 5 button clicks and a jigsaw puzzle, plus doesn't give anything to the user. Unsure why we are striking a comparison. @All this is an evolving process so I encourage you to keep giving your constructive feedback... some I may even pay attention to.

I have to agree with @Sonovabich here - the club change for me is really about trying to promote the other games that we support and support them in creating their own place in this community..

Because I haven't made it yet, there are a few things I need to do before creating the rest of them, It will come soon.

Yeah sorry about that @Sonovabich I had been working towards a new system for the games so we could create dedicated sections for new games without clogging the forums up etc. Then when on holiday @Ruggerxi and @EDD THE DUCK decided that they would conveniently forget what I had been trying to achieve and what I had been working on and decided to start creating new forums. I have put World of Warships in it's own club now and will be moving the other games over to clubs soon. Thanks for the understanding.
