It happened to me the other weekend. I ended up mowing our orchard, weeding the vegetable beds and fixing our ride on mower. It's hell.

Perhaps could be related to eNom going down - that's taken loads of websites offline.

The message is sent every month but membership is only revoked after three months of inactivity. The email is sent after a month to give plenty of warning. There is no cause for the email to be sent unless you have been inactive.

I just bought a 512GB for around £150 for my laptop. Very very fast - restarts in 20 seconds or less. Sleep to on is instant. One of the best buys I've ever had.

Doesn't really say anything conclusive though. Just that there is code that *could* be used - it's not as if they are back doors or anything just some of their functions have been discovered. Without looking at the actual code it can't be determined what these utilities are for. It could be that the 'packet sniffer' is used for finding other Apple devices or media services. It could be that they are aware of exploits and have this service in place to detect them and prevent them. Or even to prevent certain information from leaving the device. Most of that article is wild speculation with the actual person bringing out the information trying to get it across to the reporter that he's not interpreting what he is saying correctly.

Yeah @@Sammy nothing like that I read it as something that would be on this website. You would have a list of 'Departments' (in this case admin groups) and you would send a ticket to them. It would then be a private conversation between the admin group and the OP. There is a free one available that looks pretty good and it would help us keep track of problems people are having. Maybe even having the ability to 'elevate' a ticket to a higher admin group - I will look to see if that is possible. I have been looking for something better than our current appeals system so that may be a possibility. (Current appeals system requires a senior to approve messages). I did try using the 'Tracker' for this sort of thing but it was overcomplicated.

Just to put my thoughts in here as I have been away for a few days. We are all in this together - we share the same tags and are in the same community. You can choose to be pro-active about keeping the servers clean, that is your choice. You can choose to do nothing and complain, again your choice. There are no requirements of your effort for keeping the servers clean however the more you help the more will be done. As far as the 'evidence' not being good enough. There are many hacks out there and our admins are experienced with dealing and recognising them. The majority of videos we receive are accompanied by the accusation of 'hacking' and claims that it is obvious. Now we need to know that with beyond reasonable doubt that the player is hacking, if I can put whatever we see down to a graphics glitch, network or something else then there becomes a doubt. I kind of like the ticket idea.
