It's not so much that BF3 is 'so two years ago'.. and COD series isn't. It's more that we are constantly changing our COD servers with new mods and changing up the game to keep it interesting. You simply can't do that with the BF series.

If you have file history enabled or another backup system then yes from that otherwise it's pretty hard. There have been some advancements made with using software such as https://www.piriform.com/recuva to retrieve the files. Depending on the variant of the ransomware (I am unsure of the specifics of yours) the 'encryption' process creates the new encrypted file before deleting the original which does leave the data for recovery. Ensure that you have removed the virus before you start trying to recover files though. Good luck.

One of the things I have been sorting out recently is the steam group, we do have a group that has allot of our members but was created by a now ex member who has been banned. They are still in control of the group and therefore a new group has been created. This new group will be the official one even if we get full control of the other. There have been some suggestions that we should change our default theme from Blood (Dark theme) to Elegant (Light theme). Users will always be able to set their own theme which is applied whenever you log in. Not sure you can have the <> anyway but you can add the tags when you have joined the server anyway so either way is fine.

Can you supply some more information please. Have you applied the patch? When it crashes there will be a JIT screen that appears - can you paste the contents of that here.

I am helping out a good friend of mine with an art project for his final year and could do with some help with translations. Essentially the art is themed around a republic called 'The Republic of Epistemia'. He (and Myself) would really appreciate if some of you could do a translation of approx 1-1/2 pages of text which is the manifesto. We don't really want to use a translator as they have known issues and as this is for a qualification it needs to be correct. If you do have time could you translate this into any language - it will be greatly appreciated and I promise I will try and avoid breaking the website for a while. @@Devilsbed if you are doing it manually then yes, wherever your game is installed. The easiest way to install pb for the client is to run the first download which is the pbsetup for legacy games. Dux

Just generally sigs aren't used in mobile forum applications / mibile skins etc. Ideally mobile views should be minimal of images. If you want signatures I would suggest you use the desktop version.

Through a PM to our admins you explained that your son was meaning to say 'ignore' (in dutch) and that "Nigger is a abbreviation for ignoring in the Netherlands". This corroborates what a player ingame at the time has said. In this appeal you are now saying they meant to say 'nine' (in dutch) which contradicts the player and your earlier story. 500 Internal server error on a Windows 2008 server running IIS7 and PHP version 5.2 when using PHP function getimagesize Unsure of the cause and it doesn't seem to throw a catchable error. The function works in other areas of the website.
