soundmixer is enabled in recording device. So that is not the problem

Anyone else problems with COD 4 and Win 8.1 64 bit? My game crashed a few times. Hope anyone has a solution for this. I tried to play in different compabilities (Win 7 and Win Vista) but it still crashed. And when the game crashed, i can't go back to desktop --> need to reboot my pc with a reset

make sure u are using win 8.1 (64 bit) and go ''play'' with your settings in game. start with all on medium and go play.. if it's smooth... turn some settings higher. and make sure u have the latest GPU card drivers. good luck!
