Midlothian VA 8. Durham NC 9 & 10 Greensboro NC 11. Hickory NC 12. Gastonia NC. Then off to the Big D for some well needed rest. I hope to get to stop in GA again to see Bama and BB. Then I hope to have a stop in Mississippi to see Overkill and Mike again also.

Thanks BB and Bama. ad a real nice time finally meeting you two in person. So much nicer then just talking on TS. Had a real nice diner, sorry had to cut it short. But needed to get some paperwork done before I goto sleep. I hope on my way home I can stop off again and we could spend some more time talking. I agree Gorilla, but as u said my friend... " in the hands of the wrong people" which would make it a political conversation. Maybe it's best it be moved there and everyone is welcome to join in. You are 100% wrong there Pete, what I meant by that was that we have no control over this situation. I wasn't pointing fingers at any person or group of people. Just saying that our future is not in control.

A woman is having an affair during the day while her husband is at work. Her 9 year old son comes home unexpectedly, sees them and hides in the bedroom closet to watch. The woman's husband also comes home so she puts her lover in the closet not realizing that her son is hiding in there. The little boy says ''It's dark in here'' The man replies ''Yes, it is'' Boy - "I have a baseball." Man - "That's nice." Boy - "Want to buy it?" Man - "No, thanks." Boy - "My dad's outside." Man - "OK, how much?" Boy - "$250" In the next few weeks, it happens again that the boy and the lover are in the closet together once again. Boy - "Dark in here." Man - "Yes, it is." Boy - "I have a baseball glove." The lover remembering the last time, asks the boy, "How much?" Boy - "$750" Man - "Fine." A few days later, the father says to the boy, "Grab your glove, let's go outside and have a game of catch." The boy says, "I can't, I sold my baseball and my glove." The father asks, "How much did you sell them for?" Boy - "$1,000" The father says, "That's terrible to overcharge your friends like that... that is way more than those two things cost. I'm going to take you to church and make you confess." They go to the church and the father makes the little boy sit in the confession booth and he closes the door. The boy says, "Dark in here." The priest says, "Don't start that shit again

I don't think talking about the Fiscal Cliff is political. It is a very real and scary thing that will affect everyone in this clan in a financial way. Even out members and friends over seas will be effected by this. More Americans won't be able to take vacations and even buy everyday goods that are imported. To me it would be the same as talking about the stock market, except our short and curly's are in the hands of the wrong people. I for one am disappointed that this post was removed.

I was just reading this when was going to post on it. You beat me to it Loader. What a great man he was. He was a leader that all the troops would follow into combat. I actually met him outside of a market in Tampa when I was on a visit to see my girlfriends family in 1995 at the time I was stationed at Langley AFB. To bad they don't make them like him anymore. I would compare him to a Patton any day of the week and would follow his lead still to this day.

So, I was just wondering what was you favorite gift this year? Mine was a hand made Damascus steel knife with a walnut handle that my Dad had commissioned for me. I know that my second will be a High Point .45 ACP Carbine that I have had my eye one for some time. Here is a pic of the knife.
