Here are some old pictures.  The kitchen has been completely redone tho,  these pictures are when we bought the place, and were trying to make it livable.  The last picture you can see the updated kitchen, but even that is an old pic.  all the flooring has been replaced.

I bought the house about 6 years ago.  we got it for a fairly good price but it was in pretty rough shape. At that point I removed the old knob and tube wiring and rewired 95% of the house, upgraded the panel box to 200 amp.  No problems with the sewer or plumbing but it is still the old cast iron drains, so eventually that may be another issue.  So far i gutted and replaced the entire kitchen.  replaced flooring thoughout.  After the siding is done, next is moving laundry room upstairs and converting that room into another bathroom.

I will see if I have some other pictures of that work.  this place has come a looooong way. at one point it was even condemned 🤷‍♂️

Good stuff man! I wish I had your skills. I love that stuff. Except I buy one, and pay a guy like you to fix em.
I have no skills. Post more picks. I cant imagine what the electrical and plumbing was like. How are the sewer lines?

Hey all, I've been super busy @ the homestead.  Thought I'd post some pictures!
So, I do this for a living.  Windows, doors, siding, ect.. but we build new houses from scratch.  This here is a totally different ballgame.  Nothing was strait to begin with, house has been worked on and patched up multiple times.   I'm really happy with the results so far, but it has been a huge amount of work.

This is what we started with.

First was the roof.  I did the small roofs but had a contractor do the main roof.

Balcony had a leak so that was enclosed quickly over the winter.

Finished off the balcony and added 2" Styrofoam.  The back of the house was noticeably colder than the rest so, insulation was a must.  New window for the current laundry room, but that's also getting converted to a large bathroom sometime.

The bump out was a porch, then enclosed to be a sun room.  Our daughter has now made it her bedroom, so...with the bottom being open, and the old wooden windows. That room was always cold!  Floor was insulated, bottom framed in a foamed closed.  2 double windows on both sides were framed in and covered. The 3 windows you still see will be removed and replaced with just 1 in the center.

    Costal blue, Dutchlap siding started.

First of all correct I think is better than code as long as your standards are better than code 🙂  . Next that basturd on the right he has to go I would say a few sticks of dynamite will get rid of him . Now that pie ce of hmm haha ya know on the left I think somebody should tell him to push his house 16 feet to the left. Just my advice. Looks good I have always loved teh feeling of doing a good job. Drive by the place later in lifer and say I did that 🙂

Good job buddy, how many girls does it hold?, as it's recessed would recommend the red light on a separate post forward of the property, helps catch the drunks who may otherwise miss it.
