Before you are approached by an admin to invite you to the family you must have fulfill the requirements.
 
>XI< Clan Membership is by Admin invite only. If you are a regular player on our servers and are interested in joining >XI< then you will eventually get approached by a server admin.

You must meet all the following requirements before you will be considered for clan membership. We also have an application process in place which allows all the admins the right to deny your application if you're an asshole or a suspected hacker.

1. Have read, understand, and agree to abide by the XI Code of Conduct
2. Need to be registered on the site with a username and password for 3 months
3. Need to have made a minimum of 20 posts on the site (including an introduction post about yourself)
4. Need to use Mic in game
5. Need to have Teamspeak 3 setup + Xfire
6. Must be 18 years of age
7. Game name and website name must match
8. Need at least 100 hours of gaming time on our servers (you can check this through gametracker, if you need help find an admin)
9. Your GUID number must be clean on the PBBANS list. PBBANS.com
10. You must not be in another clan and must have left any previous clans 3+ months before applying.
11. You must add your sponsor and other game admins for the game(s) you play to your xfire friends list
12. You must have your xfire username listed in your website profile.
If you have any questions please see an admin and they can help you out.

So, introductions may be in order, and since I'm the new duck, I guess I'd better introduce... me.
 
My real name is Aart, I'm not an actual duck in real life (Killingman is going to be so disappointed) and despite what some people in the BF4 TS channel say I do not have a funny accent. For a dutchman. Living in Germany. I may not be selling this well.
I work in IT (a fact I try to keep hidden from friends and family) as an engineer/architect for a large global company and in my off time I on occasion do a little consulting for small businesses on the side, when I can be bothered. All of my hobbies are boring, because they're things like enjoying music, playing video games, being in the pub with friends and on occasion lending my dad's 65 kg dog to go for a drag. He goes for a walk and I hang on to the leash, until he tires or my arm falls off.
Gaming-wise I spend my time mostly in BF4 at the moment, with occasional detours for DayZ:Origins and Forged Alliance. I'm rubbish at all three, so if you fancy a win, just challenge me.
 
That's enough quacking about me, time for the festivities. Where I come from, the new boy gets the first round of beers for everyone.

I have no problem. I for myself don't vote every day. This doesn't mean that I am not loyal to XI.
 
Most if the time I use my smartphone to browse the forums and write posts - in mobile view to save traffic (have 1GB / month). Sure, the main page has a mobile view too but top100clans.com doesn't, and solvin the captcha with a mobile device is not that easy. When I am at my desk I place a vote.
 
I see some unnecessary drama growing up about a vote box. Come on guys.
 
One if the reasons for the higher numbers on rank 1 f.e. ist that there is an overlay when you visit their forums. A big logo and a very small text "skip voting" or "vote later". I personally don't want to see things like this in our forums.

This week marks my 8th year wasting away my life on XI servers.  The person who invited me into the clan was banned, the games have slowly changed but kept their essential "XI-ness", there has been all kinds of drama, a huge growth in members, a lot of people who have come and gone... and through it all we have had the stable, immeasurably patient leadership of Rugger to guide us.  It's been a good ride.  Here's to 8 more years - cheers brothers and sisters.
