So....if I saunter on into the House of Parliament wearing my Master Chief Armor, I could get arrested? Oh now this is something that I have to do before I die.

Well, surgery was on the 12th, everything went great. Came home last Thursday, and now there's some lucky fellow out in California that has a new kidney. -

Tips for surviving surgery and hospital stay?
Hickeydog replied to Hickeydog's topic in General Discussion
Oh crap that's right. I have to have a Foley Cather inserted. That's it. Game over. I'm out. I give up. I draw the line at tubes getting rammed up my oingo boingo. -
I'm going under the knife on Monday, and I'm looking for any tips that people might have. This my first time going under general anesthesia, and I'll be in the hospital for a few days. So what should I do/don't do/look out for/bring with/don't bring with? Any advice as to making the trauma as comfortable as possible?

SgtHarryWeezer I have a very simple solution. We already carry a national ID card - SS card. Make it biometric such that when you present it, you also swipe a thumbprint, when queries a database to verify you are who you say you are. Only citizens get it. It can't be faked. Without it, you cannot be employed, bank, buy or rent a house, fly, etc. Then, make it a mandatory felony for the CEO/manager/owner of any business or company which employs anyone who does not have one. When illegals can't work or function in this country, they will go where they can. We won't even have to ship them home. Funny...that sound virtually identical to the laws we already have in place...... -

Not sure. It was the name I used when I stared playing my first FPS, America's Army. I've just continued to use it.

That is an interesting problem. Have you tried updating your video card drivers?

Thank GAWD for AC. Actually, I'm rather surprised how much I don't feel it on the bike. Except when I stop. Then I'm sweating enough to flood Niagra Falls.

CplMOFO My Vertex 120GB (indilinx-based) is pretty much like your Falcon HICKEYdog...I might do like you do, and put it in a laptop and install a Crucial...it's only a project....maybe later... Got the switch done. And ironically, the SSD is the highest rated device in Windows Experience Index in both systems.
