Black Ops is a really cool game. It will become the best of the COD series. I stared playing on COD5 first so I got stuck on that, it took several patches to get things right, it is a great game and it continues to get better. So in time Black Ops with all of the new features never before seen in COD will be a really great game. Look at all of the versataility this game has. Face paint, gun paint, etc. etc., that has to add to the problems as well. It takes at least a double core processor because of all of the different processes running at one time. A lot of peoples problems is their computer or computer settings. We can't fix what we can't fix, so ride the ride and see how good it will become. It will take time. It has shown great improvement already. It is an awesome game. I never had much trouble, except some lag. And that is virtually fixed. I am not a steam fan, but that is what we got, so we have to deal with it. One advantage with Steam is that the patches and such will be downloaed automatically when you start the game, I hated to have to go search for the best place to download a patch. So there will be a silver lining someday. Hang in there. What the hell else can we do?

Come on guys, I know it is discouraging but it will get better. Like Evool said, just make sure all of your drivers and shit are up to date. And there will be more shit, so sit back and have beer or smioke a bowl or whatever. It is not worth getting pissed off about it. IO had a few minor issues but that was a week ago. Except for the game crashing once in awhile. Hell don't play for a week and come back and everything or close to it should be pretty well taken care of. Things may seem all fucked up on different setups, so it will take awhile to fix all of the shit. It has to be a damn nightmare on Steam's end or Treyarch or Activision trying to figure all of the shit out. Give them some credit and support, they are trying there damnest. Think positive, why not, it is better than being frustrated and pissed off. Come on game and shoot my ass, I don't care. I make a good target with the ADM on my back. damn Rugger knived me this morning and went, HeHeHe. Funny shit. It will become a great game when the bugs are worked out. Just hang in there.

Thanks Gorilla, That was a real classic with a lot of meaning. Red Skeleton was one of my favorite comedians when I was growing up, every week we couldn't wait until The Red Skeleton Show would come on. Brings back a lot of good memories. It is really too bad the world has changed so much. I wish the leaders of the country would have the same principals as they were then. Because very few of them don't have their head up their ass. At election time we used to vote for who we liked best, now it who we hate the least. Something is wrong with that picture, just like the shit that is wrong with our great nation. Glad you figured it out TSW. You could find the servers in the ranked servers list and then move them to your favorites list, or look in your recent list. You might try not using the arrows when looking for someone. XI not >XI<, that may help. Have fun playing BO, I hope to see you in there more.

Just give it some time. This is going to be an awesome game. But I have never tried Crysis. We will get all of the bugs out eventually. Every time we change something the game gets better, There has been a lot of changes just in the last week. Rugger has been working his ass off trying to please everybody. We should give hime all of our support and let him do his thing before we judge the game.

That would work great. It would be more like the servers that we run on COD4 and COD5. I am all for it. Good job Rugger.

Nicely said Tball. Steam actually helps the game. You get automatic updates. You don't have to go find a patch to fix the game. If it is set up right then there shouldn't be a problem. I had some lag the first couple of days but after that there wasn't any at all, and I have an average computer. All of the problems were with the game and they had to use steam in order to fix them. There will always be some aspects of any game that people don't like. COD2 is a good game, but I have a hard time playing cartoons. I have to admit COD4 is really great, but I got used to playing COD5 and as such I don't play COD4 much. COD5 had better graphics. As well as Black Ops has far better graphics. It all comes down to most people like to have things the same. Give Black Ops a chance, it has only been out 9 days. You can't expect to just jump right in and have no problems. Sure there will be things that you are used to that Black Ops don't have, but that happens with anything that you buy. Even something as simple as a coffee maker. There will be more bugs to fix, hell that's life. This is the biggest selling game of all time. You can't expect to keep everybody happy. And the numbers don't add up. What is that some government thing that we are supposed to beleive. Give Black Ops a chance, the concept is great and it will prove itself. Put the Steam distraction out of your mind and play. Thats what it is for isn't, just play and have fun. Come and shoot me, that seems to be a great pasttime for a lot of you.

Several stores and online stores sell it. Steam does sell it, but you can buy it anywhere but it is run through Steam, which is done during the setup. You will need to setup a Steam account to run the game. I found it easier to setup a Steam account before I installed the game. I bought mine through Amazon. I preordered it back in August.

I bought a new computer the 1st of May. It had a 9100 in it and I upgraded to a NVidia 250 GTS which is a single slot, double sized video card (I only had one slot) so that worked fine and you can get them for $150 or less and it plays Black Ops just fine. 738 Mhz Core Clock, 128 processor core, 1782 MHz Processor Clock, 1024 mb. I get about 95 fps. I am no computer geek, so I really don't know what all of that means. But I know it works. It runs my windows 7, 64 bit just fine. There is always something bigger and better. Go with whatever you can afford. But remember in 3 months a bigger, better one will be cheaper. I hate that. Good luck
