Need a lot of weed for RSO treatment - it takes so much of it. You already have plants vegging to get right back into flower? I've spent the last year messing around with breeding and have had back to back seeded harvests (which I run through a dry sift tumbler for kief extractions and then press into rosin). I'm about to flower out both of my 4x4 tents so I can get my jars filled back up.

But yeah I will eat the hell out of bluegill, pumpkinseeds, etc. We used to catch 5 gallon buckets of them out of the Mississippi near La Crosse and have big fish fries in the summers.

I would eat those in this order: Crappie, catfish, sunfish, largemouth. What's a red ear? Nothing beats walleye for freshwater fish. I will die on this hill. EDIT: Although a good sized yellow perch isn't far behind.

I've been eyeing all the squirrels in the woods behind my house. They are real fat from hickory nuts and acorns and I have the right kind of broadhead to make a meal or three.

I would consider squirrel to be my second favorite game meat after elk.

Unfortunately for most hunters, they take the rib meat and throw it away or put it in the trim bag. Next time you have the occasion, keep the ribs from a deer and make short ribs from them. They are fantastic.

I made ribs this past weekend - KC style. I generally prefer Memphis style but I have a simple rib method that involves glazing. Dry rub, three hours on the smoker on high smoke - apply glaze, cover with tinfoil, smoke for another two hours - remove tinfoil, glaze again, and smoke another hour or so. These came from a farm down the road that we buy meat from once a month. Glaze is simple: maple syrup, ketchup, mustard, and black pepper. I make a dry rub based on a competition rub from Traeger or someone I found awhile ago.

Yeah I haven't been playing at all the past few days. Kind of bored of the card games for now.

There will likely be some real competitors soon (and maybe there are now, I haven't really looked) - but when we made the choice to get rid of cable TV the only two real options were Hulu and YouTube. We chose Hulu at the time (end of last year) - I don't recall exactly why. I can tell you that, at least where I live in central MA, we get all the local stations and all major sports - including NFL Endzone/Gameday and the regional sports networks. We added on HBO Max, Disney+ and Netflix and of course have Amazon Prime (we use a Fire Cube). With all that we're saving around $100/month. Edit: I also boosted our internet service to the max Spectrum provides in the process to compensate for all the additional streaming.

I have four 8x4 outdoor beds plus a 2x2 potato box I am using to see if I can get multiple harvests. And of course indoors I have the two 4x4 spaces.
