yea i also use the card for mic preamp as i use a cardioid condenser mic that needs 48volts. But its not really good as mic preamp lol i should install my soundboard so i can get better preamps but yea i have no place for that yet ( i just moved and the studio/deskroom isnt done yet)

but yea the Beyer 770 is a good choice, they comfy and good quality, and u can repair them easily as they sell every parts

well i have an old focusrite as soundcard, its a bigger version (4i4), but its a firewire version, i like it a lot for the price, but i dont see why u would need something like this for just gaming and listening to music. i used mine for music producing and video editing. the sound is kinda clean, but not high end audiophile like. But yea sound is way cleaner than it would be with onboardcard of course. the XLRs inputs are giving me headaches on this one, i dont even think they are neutric ones, they sucks. But yea i still like the card, dont get me wrong. the preamps sucks too, in fact they really low, so even for recording a mic for example u got to get a mic preamp. There are better options out there for you, i dont know how u would set up that one for 5.1 either as its a 2 out. and u 'll need studio monitors or an adapter jack to whateverinput u have on your monitors, anyway this will cause problems too. For me, u need something else, and i can't really help you there coz i never had a look at headphones amp / dac

but do you have any external sound card ? i wouldnt waste money on high end headphones without a good soundcard to get a decent sound first. I had some Beyer dynamics, still have a few of them that i should repair, but im now on KRK 6400 and i really do like em, very lightweight studio monitors and good for the price. only thing is the cushion material isnt as good as the Beyer were.

yea that is why i only buy evga cards. i had one bad card they send me another one and an upgraded version ... love it

recently bought some Eizo foris its only 24', but its nice. But i guess its not what u looking for. its the first monitor i ever saw that was like 98% calibrated. i really like it, its not as good as my dell ultrasharp, but half the price and its more game oriented than my dell. not sure if they make the same in bigger size

its kinda nice, maybe one thing is the no hit registration, i found this annoying, as i like to know when i hit someone or not. But the weapon models are awesome i think, really nice details, maybe better than stock weapons. its smooth and everything, just miss the hit reg.

also if u plan to install a M.2 that u better go with windows 10 as it has the drivers on the win install disc or files. Its very annoying to install win 7 on it. i did that and booting time is like 5 times slower than a usual SSD. That is just because i couldnt get the piggin win 7 on a GPT usb key. I may try again this week to reinstall it another way, but very frustrating. it works fine when booted, but not as fast as it should. Or i may install win 10 to get rid of that GPT/MBR partiton problem, who knows lol

kangertech subox mini, its so good i bought the same for the wife and we both love it. its really not expensive and quality, the vape is great as good if not better than anything else i tried. i didnt touched my kayfuns for months, and i used to only vape on them
