I have been an NRA certified rifle and pistol instructor for over 20 years. I have had the opportunity to teach many adults and non-adults the proper way to handle firearems - with respect. Firearms are no diferent than anything else that can be mistreated and cause problems. We don't ban alcohol or cars because of drunk drivers that kill and maime - why ban guns because they are improperly uised. The typical person will respond properly to dealing with firearms if they have the proper training. Cars, alcohol, and guns don't kill people - people do.
