try 150x150 pixels.... It can't be any more than 1 meg in size... I think you are limited to around 200 pixels squared.

most sign sizes are 550x250 pixels and avatars are 150x150

Everytime I try to upload my picture I get this error   

Server.MapPath() error 'ASP 0214 : 80004005'

Invalid Path parameter

/core/classes/class_assetman3.asp, line 204

The Path parameter excedes the maximum length allowed.

It could be your folder path is too long..

 

Try putting the avatar in the root of the c:\ drive and that way it is a short path.

 

I wouldn't know why otherwise since the pic seems to be stored on the forum server and therefore the path is set to that length after upload.

Mord, are you using Google chrome by any chance?

 

I get the same error whenever I try to upload any graphic to the forums:

I have resorted to using IE just to upload graphics, then go back to Chrome for all other surfing activities

 

I have not found any solution for this, perhaps Phantom, sho is the website guru, can comment

I had problems up loading my sig also, I was told to put it on my desktop first then get the pic from their it worked for me. hope it helps.

Thank you all for helping me out I guess it was Chrome ..but I reformated my comp and used IE and it worked
