Let see if anyone can help here. I have a Asus M4N82 Deluxe motherboard with 3 way sli compatiable pci-e slots. I have order 3 gforce 460gtx overclocked video cards. I have a coolmax cug 950b 950 watt power supply that is 3 way sli certified. Now this power supply only has 2 pci-e power cords. I have looked on board n video and power supply specs and nothing list on how to run the power wires to these 3 video cards. Do I only wire to of them or do I need some spliter and where can i find that? Can anyone help? Awards

Do not use a splitter to run two cards off one set of wires. Try to use a separate set of wires (for each card) leading back DIRECTLY to your power supply. If you use a splitter for two cards, you could get random crashes that are very hard to trace.

The 2 pci-e cords have a 8pin plug on other end and a short jumper with a 6pin plug on it. That is the spec on it. Awards

Would rather 3 way sli if i can. which card did you order? the gigabyte 460 overclocked needs 2x6pin for each card its just if the psu cant handle the power requirements for three cards these adapters wont help because you have to live with endless crashes under full load Awards

PNY 460 OC look at the general specs: Power Connector 2 x 6 Pin System Requirements Minimum 450W or greater system power supply (with a minimum 12V current rating of 38A) your psu has 20A-25A on each 12V rail if you use a splitter you are going to run the card that needs 38A on a rail with a max of 25A the result will be crashes on high load this is your PSU? you can try the adapters dogg suggested but each adapter has to be connected at a several 12V connection I dont know how many of your 4pin peripherie connectors are not connected yet... The bad news. I had the stuff to do the power and set it up. Put the cards in, hooked up the power and went to connect the bridge and well frack. My 3 way bridge is set up like most I have found online. 3 sets of 2 plugin for the cards. Well. The cards I got only have 1 plugin. And I can not find the single row 3 plug bridge. Only single rows is the 2 way sli birdges. Any ideas. Awards

I found this here GTX 460 test they say : The GTX-460 lineup is SLI capable but you can see from the single connector that Nvidia is only going to allow 2 of these in SLI. So, if your looking at triple SLI you'll need to move to the GTX-465 or above. didnt know that, sorry man, I am better with crossfire setups Awards
