Hey Spart... So you are not running at Anti virus of any type?..  As for the "Library Not Registrared"... Thats Windows 7's new enhanced security bitching at you... COD2 has to be installed as the admin and in XP mode...As a standard usr it wont recongnize the game. The only way past that is to reinstall as the admin and in XP mode, but since you can run the game there would be no need for that.

What you just mentioned is not a modem or router issue. Are you using the usb to connect your modem to your computer ? If so don't :) You might want to uninstall your ethernet driver and let windows install a new copy of it. So something like this unplug the modem uninstall your ethernet driver reboot the system and plug in the modem. Windows should see the missing driver and install it for you if it doesn't do it all again but this time get a copy of your MB manufacure's ethernet driver and use that one. Thats off the top of my head maybe one of the network gurus can advise better on the prosidure. But from what your talking about I think its that. Good luck remember computer also make stunning door stops.

Hello Labob..

I ran into trouble using the USB cable and am presently using the Ethernet.  I even re-installed the latest driver with Dell on the phone guiding me. Dell also said that they must be working on a updated driver for Windows 7 to operate the Modem. I may have to just wait. Maybe I should call Motorola and ask them for a copy of the latest driver. The software freaks out when I try to access anything on the disc containing the driver, so I downloaded the same one online & Installed it.

Thanks for your input.

Hey Pete.

I am running McAfee as I used to before. I will try shutting it down & see what happens.

As for the XP mode, I did install it as Admin & I have it set to treat the game as XP Service Pack 2.

I will get it right eventually lol.

Thanks for your Help Pete...

One last thing... If I add an Ethernet card to my new PC, I think it voids the warranty.

This is a connection problem due to Windows 7.

Still can't get a standard Broadband or Ethernet connection to make my default connection without the "Error 651" coming up.

After looking around the net....

I'm not the only person with this problem with windows 7 & microsoft has no answer yet.
