I have not really experienced Win7 yet, but

I know you can have a other location of your "My Documents"(properties 'location') but might not be the right answer for you :)

Here's an interesting article on how to modify the location of the backup. I hope it helps. This is what I have been using for mine

Sorry, let me look at a little more. I am on my laptop at the moment (work unit) and it only has XP on it still

Sorry for the misinformation

One of the ways to do this is when it asks for where you want to make the backup, choose a network location, then navigate to a folder you have already created.

The only problem I see is what level of 7 you are using. This only works on profeesional, ultimate and enterprise. It does not work on any of the home setups
