Hey all I was back home last weekend and picked up my desktop pc and retired that laptop I was attempting to freeze your booties on :smoke:  Well with all my internet problems over the last couple years I kinda got out of touch with it and the care it needs.

I let windows 7 update everything including my graphics driver and it seems like I'm getting much less fps than I remember it getting. What my rig consists of is an e4400 oc'd to 3ghz, 3 gigs of ram 1tb Sammy hd, and sli'd 8800 gts 320 meg cards. I know I used to consistintly pull well over 100 fps with everything maxed and 2x aa but now it seems to struggle to hit 60

I guess my question is if anyone is running similar cards what drivers work best for you?

Thanks and we'll see you in the servers :nuke:

I have October or November release drivers on Mercy's computer and it's an 8600gt 512mb single card. It averages around 110 on most maps, and lower on large or "fancy" looking maps.

I think your best to go to nvidia web site and download the drivers for your card. They also have an auto detect on the site if your not sure what you want.

Deerhunter is right, Crazy.  you have to download directly from nvidia website and install the drivers manually.  Or you can download and install by using nvidia control panel.  It is not a good idea to let Wind7 update the gpu drivers.
