It's works like a data center but this data center is in the air circling a specific area. This signal gets directed down to the ground were different peers can connect up and down speed. now this technology comes with some downfall. Usually these types of connection comes with a 4 second delay since it has to go from hub to hub OTA this leaves a ping delay. This seems like the cheapest way to bring internet to the dead zones. You have to remember Africa is HUGE and to run internet to the entire country would be VERY risky with the warlords and such. Construction would cost more than UAV's. I’m just brainstorming here so I could be wrong, I would have to think all options have been explored and this would be those most economical. This could be used for more than just Africa. This could be used in war zones for our troops to be able to access a more stable internet. Which is already more than enough needed and can relay any data back and forth to soldiers in the field from the various command centers. That pretty much solves it then. I don't buy the "lets help Africa", it's more like there is massive ad-rev potential there. Missed that lol. I was curious about the solar panels. It turns out that if you are willing to pay a shit-ton of money you can get panels that approach 50% efficiency. Only worth it though if you can control your angle to the sun. The power they get on the spacestation must be fantastic compared to budget panels at sealevel.
