Couldn't hack a claymore, was prone moved around loads and just could not get it to do anything. It was definitely an enemy clay.

 

Takes far too long to hack anything.

Ok. It takes longer to hack than to defrost someone. I can understand for larger items like sentry turrets, but clays shouldn't take this long, it just makes it a wasted perk.

Hmm. That is an interesting idea. Small stuff shouldnt take quite as long as big stuff.

Exactly, I can cope with a greater risk for a greater prize, but I'm buggered if I'm loitering around for 45 seconds, vulnerable, for a claymore. Lol

edit: Pretty sure it should only be five seconds. So 45 is just a bit of an overstatement. Retrieving your own explosives is 1/2 of that.

Well when your balls out in the enemies spawn, it feels like 45 minutes.

 

I don't believe it's only 5 seconds to hack something, feels about 5 seconds to retrieve your own though??

The bar is taking 5 seconds for enemy explosives. Takes a second or two for it to get started however by lowering your weapon first to do the hack.  I will play around with the numbers and see about coming up with a better system. But yea things like sentryguns shouldnt be easy to hack.

 

edit: Actually I take that back. The bar shouldnt be waiting that long after holding the button use button. Should be pretty quick.

Hacking clays and betties should now be %70 of what it takes to hack a sentrygun (5 seconds). Test and let me know.
