Hello,

 

First of all I'm really sorry if this is in the wrong place!

 

I noticed that the snipers in the ftag server work differently than the 'normal' snipers in the vanilla game. I have however not been able to figure out what the 'problem' with them is or how to properly use them.

 

I'd appreciate it a tremendous amount of someone could help me out with this!

The wa2000 is for all practical purposes the dragunov. M21 is the same m21. L118 is the r700. Stats were kept the same to maintain balance. Just different models, sounds, anims etc.

 

The silencer versions suffer damage drop off penalties. Meaning their punch degrades over distance faster than standard rounds. The steadycam reduces both sway and recoil. The amount depends on the weapon. For example the barrett benefits greatly from the reduced recoil whereas the wa2000 doesnt have much recoil to begin with unless you rock and roll with it.

Wait, I am confused.

The freeze tag server uses the normal weapons right? Just the accuracy seems to be a bit off on the snipers.

yea Sammy was talking about the mw2 mod server.

Freeze tag 1 server use stock models, but yea i believe almost every weapon is tweaked.

For snipers u need practice to understand how they react.
