I live beyond the reach of man, among the polar bears,

My gamings shit, but with my wit no one f....g cares,

There ain't a great deal for us to do above the arctic line

I amuse my fellow idiots with my prose and rhyme

Sometimes they get shitty at my witty banter

But wtf do I care, my keyboard it doth canter

I'm never lothe to comment, on anything at all

Especially with non members, and boy I have a ball

The locals will kill anything that moves out in the snow

But I'm a lot wiser, that's not the way to go

It's warmer and I kill more sitting by my screen

But it's a lonely life indoors, my neighbours are unseen

Not that I am lonely, no not lonely at any time

Theres lots of friends in my life, but all of them online

My best mates RobMc a handsome little brute

There are so few women up here I tell him that he's cute

So spare a thought you fellow idiots for us among the snow

Locked by our computers with nowhere else to go

I think the perfect mate for me, although as yet unseen

Would be that fellow idiot, who calls herself 'Icequeen'.

(Not my best but should give you a laugh Ayaq)

Hehaehehehahhehaehhhehehh!!

@RobMc ("McRib")--frickin' absolutely genius!!

I like how you wove in @Icequeen, too.

Glad you didn't damage too much pavement with your head when you had your accident.

Lol--JK, bud.  I really do wish you a speedy recovery.

Not so sure about the McRib being a handsome brute, though . . .

LMAO.

Well done, sir.

Your point about the head is a lesson to all my fellow bikers here, I was wearing a full face not my normal open helmet, it saved my good looks. WEAR A HELMET it may save your life, even if you lose some street cred.

Hey, @RobMc, in my post in response to your post on another thread (read that fast three times . . .), I referred to the song "Dixie Land."

When I was in the third grade, our music teacher--who was from Dallas, Texas--had us sing that song regularly.

Heck, when you're only 7 years old (I skipped second grade because the tests I took said I could) like I was in the third grade, you have no idea what in the heck "Dixie Land" is.

"In Dixie Land, where I was born,

early on a frosty-morn', Look away,

look away, look away, Dixie-Land . . .

"I wish I was in Dixie, away . . . away . . ., in Dixie-Land,

I'll take my stand, to live, and die, in Dixie . . .

Away . . ., away . . ., away down-south in Dixie . . .

Away . . ., away . . ., away down-south in Dixie . . ."

To this day, this fellow, who's lived in Alaska all of his 51 years, still can't get that confounded song outta his head.

Lol.

Guess I'll have to "take my stand to live and die in Dixie."

Know what you mean, I think it's a form of patriotic feeling that song gives you, I feel the same with God Save The Queen ( Sex Pistols version)
