This means is you sell the card to someone else and give them a code off the website from ur account. They then register the card they bought off you and now they have lifetime warrenty. I always stick with XFX for ATI cards and EVGA for Nvidia cards. At this point, I'd go with a 5xxx series card or a GTX 460 for around 200 bucks, both being DX11 cards and not stepping backwards for a large amount up front.
