The card does have a double lifetime warrenty as most XFX cards do.  This means is you sell the card to someone else and give them a code off the website from ur account.  They then register the card they bought off you and now they have lifetime warrenty.  I always stick with XFX for ATI cards and EVGA for Nvidia cards.  If any of yens are new to buying video rember always to register your card on the MF website within 30 days or the warrenty means nothing.

I run ATI in my PC, got a XFX  HD 5750 1GB GDDR5 in there now, and have no problems with it and runs Great, but they do need alot of power. had a 4870 512M in there before and a 750w psu and it still wanted more... But works good with the 5750.

I get a solid 125FPS  (think it capped at that in game options) in cod4 and never falls under 90fps.

I have a new xfx 650 ps   3 months old should I maybe not get this series card?

the thing I like about the 48xx over the 57xx is that they are 256b interfave instead of the 128b interface

THAT 4800 SERIES WILL RUN HOTTER AND DRAW MORE POWER THAN THE NEWER 5700 SERIES SO CHECK THE SPEC FOR MIN POWER SUPPLY.

I'd definetly go with a 256 bit card over a 128 bit card, the memory bandwidth can make a nice amount of difference in some applications. At this point, I'd go with a 5xxx series card or a GTX 460 for around 200 bucks, both being DX11 cards and not stepping backwards for a large amount up front.
