MIC PROBS anyone help???

Now sadly your old senz does have a mic but unable to get this to work, not good, at 99.9 years old tech is not his best area

Running windows and have a  good powerful machine, but am totally unable to talk and getting any sort of movement on the mic side

I am using a SXFI gamer usb headset. can hear all but nothing happens with the mic

any advice? ty all

I had lot of issues with mic but im hardwired on 3,5mm front jacks , one thing i could tell to check make sure your HS is good , had problems once and finally the cause the heaset itself .

Two things I can tell you and others will or may disagree...Call of Duty games are partial to using a 3.5 jack only for mic and it is also partial to using only realtek drivers for sound....So you could go into device manager and disable other sound drivers or get a USB to 3.5 jack...I have had some say they put a "dummy" jack in their mic and that made it work

Thanks for info and reply, I do have other headphones but they are not comfy at all for long, the sxfi are very comfy and also sound is bloody good.I am using the usb 3 connection to use. I do have the soundblaster X7 UNIT (EXTERNAL) this has jacks but the headphones i use are usb, if you understand what I mean, I did have them running once no idea how, but cannot get them working now at all  at least you all wont have to listen to old senzei  voice.

Your sound drivers probably change...Go into device manager and check for event changes

Remember to create your Super X-Fi profile before attempting to set-up on your PC

if  device manager see your headset get the software  for it  from Creative

check what is playing by typing in search box sound settings...........win 7 & and up
