Hello all I just thought that i would give everyone a heads up that i will be seen a little less over the next three weeks as i have have alot going on at the mo (exams, work, etc etc) not to mention my pc build im currently undertaking that is consuming my life and sleeping hours with hardware research and reviews. A mate of mine built a Intel system and during discussion one day said you couldnt build a AMD system for the same money that equals or surpasses his one. WANNA BET! I love a challenge!! So far it looks good, a few more parts then assemble, O.C, and benchmark both pcs. Ill keep you posted. I will still game most days but at a reduced amount and i will still be active in the forums. See you when im looking at yas.

Thanks Labob! after much research on AMD systems and my mobo since this post, i have decided on 8gig 1600mhz dual channel of which i will drop the freq back too 1333 and relax the timings so that when i oc the system i have a bit more head room on the mem to work with. Hopefully my cpu's mem controller lets me get a good oc on factory max 1333mhz or i will have shelled out the extra moolah on the 1600 for nothing! LOL. Thanks!

Hi guyz n girlz well im currently buying parts for a new pc, my laptop is just bout fragged to death and im sick of medium settings and poor colour etc. First of all the mobo is a MSI 890FXA-GD70 AM3 socket. On the mobo's specs it says this for the ram : Supports four unbuffered DIMM of 1.5 Volt DDR3 800/1066/1333/1600*/1800*/2133* (OC*) DRAM, 16GB Max. Ok so originaly i was going to put some 1600mhz ddr3 in there, but the way i read these RAM specs tells me that the max i can put in is 1333mhz and then i have to overclock it to get 1600mhz then 1800mhz etc etc. Is this correct the way im reading this? Or can i put 1600mhz strait in? Any help appreciated as its doing my head in. I dont care bout having to OC it to 1600 but if i can just put in some that is already 1600 then that would be sweet too. Thanks team!!!

(WIN7) Right click cod4 shortcut, open file location, open players folder then copy profiles folder to somewhere safe that holds all ya rank etc. Also copy usermaps folder to save you having to download all them again. Hope that helps.

Pre ordered Black ops today and was told when i asked about dedi servers is that as long as they dont blow thier development budget too soon then the dedi servers will stay on. So fingers crossed, if they chop the dedis off im gunna be pissed coz i like the look of this C.O.D installment espesh the vietnam content. Just waiting for the beta to come out and will see if its as good as it looks.
